Hello lemur blog, if it weren't such a bother and if you know, could you tell me what the Madagascar comics are about? And where could I read them? I've been interested in them but I don't have almost any information. If you don't know anything, could you tell me who knows? I hope it's not too much trouble
Hi! It's not a bother at all, I'd love to tell you. However I don't know anything about them either! Off the top of my head, the person who knows might be @strangewomanactuallylargebass
I also found two comics on the internet archive, Operation: Wonder from Down Under and Operation: Weakest Link. I haven't checked them out yet, but they're there! That's probably the safest site to read them on.
Today's the twelfth anniversary of The Penguins of Madagascar episodes Time Out, Our Man in Grrfurjiclestan, Gut Instinct, and I Know Why the Caged Bird Goes Insane!
It's also the sixth anniversary of the trade paperback collection of the Madagascar comic series!
I'd love if they made some All Hail King Julien comics. They already made some film tie-in comics and some TPOM comics, and those were really good. But I'd love to see some AHKJ comics as well. I'm sure there were a lot of parts of Julien's reign we didn't see, and it'd be cool to see more of it comic form. Maybe then we could see what Julianuary and King Julien Day looked like during Julien's actual time on Madagascar.
While the Madagascar timeline can be a mess at times, it's so funny to me when they actually try to make the timeline make sense but it just comes completely out of left field. Like in MALW, the two chimps Pickles and Dave had been supporting characters throughout the whole series, but there had been no sign of Mason and Phil. How did they solve this problem, then? In the final episode, Pickles and Dave were put in a rocket and launched into space for 20 years. And in AHKJ, they spend the final four episodes just getting rid of all the villains and other supporting characters that weren't present in the original film (i.e. Karl moves to Florida, Uncle King Julien runs off with Zora, Clover marries Sage and moves to the other side of the island, etc.). Don't even get me started on the comics, because there is a whole lot of stuff going on in there.
Today's the thirteenth anniversary of the third issue of The Penguins of Madagascar comic series!
