21 lbs til I hit my goal
Things are really starting to get real for me. This semester has been the hardest semester I have ever had. My first time trying to juggle work with college, and with 16 credit hours! Eeek! I have been putting exercise on the back-burner because of it but I have two weeks until it's over. Then I will simply be part-time at work and have two classes a semester until I graduate. By August I could hit my goal, I really could. AND I WILL.
Starting May 1st, I am restarting the 30 Day Shred for the third time. Completed it once, got halfway the second time, but I WILL complete it a second time. Going to start biking again now that allergy season is pretty much over.
49 lbs down, 21 to go.
big accomplishment!
I biked 6.3 miles in 33 minutes! Yesterday I biked 2 miles less in the same amount of time. My weight isn't moving but I don't care anymore. It will move when it wants to. THIS is what it is all about, accomplishments such as this. I love it!
Merry Christmas! + some news
So it is 25 minutes into Christmas and I should be asleep, preparing to wake up and spend an awesome day with my family and baking my delicious baked ziti for Christmas dinner. Instead here I am, awake in bed and eager to start something exciting.
While I am still very much so a novice, I run. I like running. My problem is getting to run for longer periods of time. I stay about the same and never seem to build endurance. It has been a month with no real change. So, I decided to put myself in the hands of people who know their stuff, and I will be started the Couch-to-5k program starting...Monday!
It may be a little soon to start and yes, I will be on vacation the 29th through the 2nd, but what better time than now to begin a new chapter in my life and ring in a new year already on a mission?
I challenge you, fellow readers, to start the Couch-to-5k with me. I will be doing it either way but I would love to inspire anyone else out there to start it as well. If you do, please let me know!
