i’m thinking about maddaya bonding over dinosaurs.

hear me out: daya’s at a party and she starts talking about dinosaurs and her theories. people start tuning her out—all except one person, maddy, someone that she’s heard of from her friends but never met before. they hit it off: maddy’s more than just acting interested, she’s engaging with daya’s theories and asking questions. and eventually, when they find themselves outside, talking in a quieter place away from the loud music of the party, they find that they have more in common than just liking dinosaurs.

they go to a museum on their first date. daya and maddy buy each other dinosaur plushies at the gift shop.
