Welcome to daydreamer polls! This blog is for all folks on the daydreamer spectrum~! You can send in polls and have other people vote on them. Short rule list below the cut but details can be found in this FAQ.

I'm Cassette, the only mod. I choose to identify as an immersive daydreamer; our paracosm has existed since about 2020.

Resident / similar language may be used. Not every daydreamer likes 'para terms. You can use preferred language in polls but add a definition too. General terms are still used in tags to make sorting easier. If you are unsure on terms, we recommend parts of this doc.

[1] Pro rq or ship asks get deleted but I can't stop you interacting. Current events require nuance and I'm not some moral authority.

[2] Add tw: topic if needed. I add any missed but it saves time. Ask to add any I missed.

[3] All daydreamers are welcome. If the label fits, join in. See FAQ 5 to 11; no syscourse!

[4] Any daydreamer can vote by default. You can specify groups to ask (eg. add "ID only").

[5] Stay on topic. This is lenient. If it focuses on daydreaming then it will get posted. Add results to asks or I make ones to match it.

[6] Keep it SFW: mentions are ok - no details.

[7] Put your safety first if replying! Sharing every detail is not required.

[8] Remember your anon sign offs. I won't be able to, sorry. I just add them to the tags.

[9] Asks looking for advice / longer replies are fine. This isn't the focus but it's allowed.

[10] Don't be a bigot. Or sanist. Armchair diagnosing is also rude. Just be nice, yeah?

We use these tags for sorting:

#daydreamer polls - catch-all for poll posts.

#open poll - polls that are ongoing.

#closed poll - polls that ended.

#not a poll - anything that is not a poll.

#mod reply - any text-based reply from me.

#mod asks - question for the mod only.

#dreamer asks - asks for the community.

#dreamer promo - reblogged promo posts.

#dreamer rb - any posts reblogged.
