s4 potential relationship? maybe?

i did notice that when talking about their relationship, maddox points out that she was “too clingy” and that she “held on too tight” while madison says she “let go too fast”

maybe i’m reaching but doesn’t that kind of parallel s2 rini? ricky clinging too tightly to nini (bc of his fear of change) and nini letting go too fast (bc she was discovering who she is outside of ricky)— and we all know how that relationship ended so 👀

maybe there is a chance maddox and ashlyn could potentially develop into something more if she and jet become s4 regulars ???

like i’ve pointed out in past posts, tim loves himself some parallels and he’s not afraid of breaking up current relationships so maybe?

grades/ages of the hsmtmts characters:

sophomores (grade 10) during season 1/2- ashlyn, gina, seb, carlos (‘04 babies)

this would put them all as 15 during s1. they’re all 16 by season 3, and will be turning 17 in s4.

juniors (grade 11) during season 1/2- ricky, nini, big red, kourtney

nini and red are 16 at the start of season 1 (‘02), while ricky is 17 (summer of ‘02). kourtney is 15 (‘03).

kourtney doesn’t totally make sense to me, as she’s 16 and going into senior year (by s3), but the rest of them are normal and are going into s4 17-18.

seniors (grade 12) during s1/2- ej

ej was born in ‘02, and since he didn’t ALSO celebrate a summer birthday, this suggests he’s born earlier in the year. so he’s 17 in s1 and 18 in s2-3.

EXTRA:

supposedly jet is 15 at the least, which puts maddox at 16-17. he’d be 16 at the oldest, but this only makes sense if maddox is ‘02. SO: jet is either an incoming sophomore or junior, maddox is either an incoming junior or senior.

my reason for maddox & jet not being 15 & 14 respectively is because jet would have to have been a freshman to get expelled.
