Love & Mobsters - Soon to Be Fully Illustrated!

Yay, I’m so stoked to talk about this project!

So, I’ve wanted Love & Mobsters to be illustrated for a while. I wished, and hoped, and dreamed, and put out a call for charitable art. @nippip1 answered the call, for which I’m still grateful, but I felt positively shady asking any artist for anything more, and I felt weird about actually adding their (free) art to the fic. Like, y’all have a skill, I should be paying you!

And then I saw this post and everything changed. It just...felt right, does that make any sense? I saw it and was like, “Yes. That’s my Rick & Vyv. That’s L&M’s Rick & Vyv.” And I happened to finally have the money to do something about it.

Soon after, I commissioned a massive project from @madebytoast​. And guess what?

I’m finally getting off my ass and posting the illustrations! It’s happening!

I present to you, the first of the Love & Mobsters stories to be illustrated, with many more to come. *squeeee*

If you guys don’t know, my friend @oblivioustoast is amazing. I commissioned this piece that’s a play on a scene from What We Do in the Shadows and I could not! be! happier! with it!
