Today's storyboard: Here's Jarrah 'Tutty' Tutton @keepittropical during a Gold Coast swell from a couple weeks back...and the trusty craft: a 6'3" x 18 5/8" x 2 7/16" step-up from the early inception days of the G-4. How early? Five years ago...and still going strong. We built this one for heavy barrels, so it's not made fluffy or superlite, but instead is a poly made with a stock / slightly higher density blank, then wrapped in 4oz. S-glass with carbon running full length over the stringer top and bottom, and slightly wider laps all for a good balance of strength when it's heavy and weight to cut through ribs in the face when there's wind or elements about. It's seen action in Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Indonesia, and Hawaii. Photo: @andrewshield #builttolast #madecustom #g4surfboard #anteupsurfboard
