A/n: first post back! Wanted to start small with headcanons to get back into the groove before doing full fics again
Pure Vanilla Cookie
He smiles and cups your cheeks. He quickly agrees saying he’d love you no matter what form you have. He’d hold you close and kisses you.
“Of course I’d love you if you were a worm!”
Dark Cacao Cookie
He’d just stare at you, not sure how to answer that question. Are you about to turn into a worm? Is there is something you’re not telling him? Is this a joke? He doesn’t give you clear answer.
“…what?”
Eclair Cookie
He’d stop what he was doing and slowly looked at you. He started to think over history if anyone has turned into a worm. He does look for transformation books, hoping to stop the transformation.
“Are you turning into a worm?!”
Madeleine Cookie
Similar to Pure Vanilla, He’d pick you up and kiss you. He’d hold you close and show off his beautiful smile.
“I’d love you no matter what you look like! But would you love me if I was a worm?”
Espresso Cookie
He makes a disgusted face and shakes his head and continues on with his work. He is very concerned for you and how came up with such an odd question.
“Where did you get that question from? Was it Madeleine Cookie?”
Lilac Cookie
He thinks about how to answer the question. If he says no, you’ll be sad. If he says yes, you’re happy but its weird. He takes a little more time before speaking.
“..Yes..”

Hello! If it's alright with you, may I request headcanons for Espresso, Madeleine, Affogato, and Pure Vanilla with a child who is just like their other parent? Some qualities that they share would be that they are sleepy (sometimes appearing as lazy, though they do get things done) and gentle, but can be quick to anger if anything were to happen to their parents (if it's too much, you can just do regular headcanons of them with a child)!
Espresso
~| Espresso? With children? That is quite the mix. This man is a big nag, and any child he would have had to be well behaved else risking him stressing out and blowing a fuse.
~| Gets onto the kid more times than once to get up and do something productive. He gets on to you for the same reasons as well, even you aren't safe from his nagging.
~| You're going to have to take care of both of these cookies. With your child being, well, a child and Espresso being obsessed with trying to get into the Genus Book of World Records for longest all-nighter, you'll have a lot on your shoulders.
~| When Espresso takes days off he will take care of you in return. He will try and take care of the kiddo too, but he is not and never will be good at parenting.
~| He'd be pretty shocked at how much the kid loves him (at least, enough to care about him if something were to happen to him). He protects them in return- at least he's responsible.
Madeleine
~| Hangs out with the kid way too much. Probably more than he spends time with you- oop. He likes how much energy kids tend to have, and matches it quite well. Even if the kid is more tame than most, he's still going to harass them a lot.
~| You and the poor kid don't even have the chance to laze around- Madeleine is always wanting to do something. Go out for ice cream, go to the movies, play a game, etcetera. Madeleine is very ADHD.
~| Madeleine acts more like a child than the actual child. You may have to ask your kid to babysit Madeleine a few times.
Affogato
~| This man relates to you a lot. He tends to do as little as possible, and has that same lazy manor, but can be deadly efficient when he needs to be.
~| He enjoys the peace a lot. Will often laze about with you and the kiddo in his free time,he prefers that over anything. Your family is just one big pile of sleep.
~| Absolutely teaches the kid how to manipulate others into doing stuff for them. He is proud to pass on his skills to them. "Dad, didn't you say this to mom/dad/parent yesterday, though?" "Uhhh that's all we have time for today!"
~| Surprisingly good father. Your kid probably looks up to him, and he gives bomb head pats.
~| Kid definitely does not get their temper from him. First time Affogato saw the kiddo blow up he was just like "Oh. You get your temper from your other parent."
Pure Vanilla
~| He's the father who absolutely cannot tell the kid off no matter what they do. You're going to have to be the bad guy, he literally cannot handle it. He tried to be the bad guy once and literally broke down into tears thinking he was being mean and a horrible parent.
~| Both of you are spoiled half to death, between him being the literal king of a thriving nation and all the servants.
~| He doesn't have much time to give, but when he does, he makes sure that he spends all of it with his family. He will beg you to come have a picnic with him, or watch a movie.
~| He definitely evens out you and your kid's quick temper. He has patience enough to spare for a while kingdom, he just can't deal with being strict at all oop.

notes: hhhhhh i procrastinated on this for way too long, so sorry snow anon 😭 every time i try to write this i either get a brain crash or grow upset with what i wrote ajdkfhs—but! this is no time to complain!! this is (hopefully) a slump that i’ll get over one day. tho i will say that i’m not that proud with this, so sorry if you aren’t that satisfied with this content, but i do hope these are enough to inspire some ideas for you if you request some more!

❀ there’s never a moment of doubt with madeleine—he won’t let you doubt yourself or your relationship. as a prideful knight it’s difficult to bring his self esteem down or any of the confidence that those close to him have, including you
❀ even if you weren’t feeling insecure about anything madeleine still likes to praise you about everything; from your physical attributes to your personality and though it sounds like he’s repeating himself at times i can assure you he’s not merely saying it to be nice, he’s saying it because he genuinely means it
❀ madeleine is also a very touchy person, even in platonic relationships he’s always giving out hugs and piggyback rides (i hc that he gives them all the time for the kids hehe), so when he’s dating you? oh boy
❀ he’s always touching you in some way; handholding, hugs, carrying you in his arms, picking you up lion-king-style—you name it, he’s doing it. also, expect a lot of kisses. doesn’t matter if it’s in public or not, he will give you a smooch right then and there. i’d honestly say his love language is physical touch, but he seems to convey his love for you in any way possible so he doesn’t limit himself to just that, physical contact is just easy to do for him cause he can do it whenever :)
❀ whenever he’s feeling extremely happy about something he likes to pick you up and twirl you around before pulling you into a hug
❀ first kisses are an important moment in one’s relationship and i’m sure even madeleine knows this. this may come off as more of an unpopular hc, but i don’t think madeleine would initiate the first kiss. sure, he may be the cuddly and affectionate cookie in the relationship, but he wants to wait for the perfect moment to finally kiss you, which may take awhile so this task might fall onto you

❀ absolutely teaches you how to fight!! just ask and he’ll show you how to hold a sword! this causes him to daydream a lot about the two of you fighting side by side one day… maybe he should commission someone to make you some armor?
❀ madeleine doesn’t strike me as the type of cookie to get jealous. in situations like someone flirting with you he’s kinda oblivious to their intentions and drives them away without meaning to lmao (after they run away he’d just turn to you like, “was it something i said? 🥺”)
❀ but one scenario i can envision him getting jealous in is if you were to start praising someone else. madeleine loves your attention so to have it go to someone else that might be better than him?? they are clearly asking for a duel! >:( no, it’s not a fight, it’s just a contest with madeleine showing off how he’s better than them at something
❀ this gorgeous cookie is a fan of gifts—giving, receiving, it doesn’t matter, he just likes them a lot. he gives you tons of presents just because he can and they can be quite excessive… and expensive. if the amount of gifts you receive almost daily bother you madeleine says he’ll try to tone it down, but it’s kinda hard to when almost everything he gets you is because they reminded him of you
❀ madeleine would appreciate anything you get him even as something as minuscule as, let’s say, a pen, but he does have a bit of a preference for handmade things. he’s just so in awe with your talent and to think you took the time to make it just for him?? why, he’s never shone brighter than before! Social interaction is pretty high on my fear list, and if I see even a tiny roach I will instantly scream as high and loud as I can. I have a pretty bad fear of being alone as well, I always want someone to be somewhere near me even if we aren’t talking. Also pretty much an insect and/or bug freaks me out.

He takes you everywhere he goes to (parks, shops, parties, competitions, you name it) but if you are ever uncomfortable in a social event , just ask Madeleine and he'll distract the crowd. He gets attention and you get a free get-away ticket (win-win situation;]). If he ever has to leave for an expedition, he'll ask his aunties if you can stay with them (They may be a little overwhelmed at times but trust me, they really like you). whatever your work is, madeleine 100% supports it! but he gets really worried whenever it's late at night and you still haven't come home.
often, he'll have to go to your workplace himself to drag you home/force you to sleep.
madeleine focuses A LOT on selfcare. which also applies to you! once he's done dragging you back home and forcing you to rest, he's already preparing that bubble bath for you. listen to him and go straight into the bubble bath! don't even think about getting your clothes - he'll help you do that.
if you're okay with it, he'll help you bathe and massage your shoulders <333 and well, anywhere else you want him to massage but just keep it sfw lmfao
afterwards, he'll help you with your daily skincare routine (and if you don't have one, then he'll do his for you because he claims that his skin is only perfect because of it HAHA)

They love hugging and giving you kisses at very random times, you might be sleeping, maybe reading or maybe you're fight practicing together, and he just randomly stops to kiss or hug you.
He looooves to play with your hair, he let's you play with his, but before he touches it lightly, makes braids, puts it in a ponytail. If you cut your hair he still loves it.
He's always been the one that gives more love and affection, so you decided to do random gufts for him which make him the happiest person ever.
