         it was surreal. more than surreal. it was like one of those dreams where the dreamer knew it was only a dream but couldn’t get out. only belle didn’t want to get out. she’d spent so much of her life in that orphanage, had made plans for what she would do when she got out. only she hadn’t expected it to happen like this. adopted. someone-- francis -- wanted to be her family. was she supposed to call him papa? she wasn’t sure she was ready for that. she was still trying to convince herself this wasn’t actually a dream. ‘ would it be weird for me to say i’m still trying to make sure you’re real? ‘
