Odin: What is your family like?

Luc paused, running a hand through his hair before speaking, an almost fond look to his face when he spoke.

“My family is rather in the middle of any sort of social standing or position, which suits us quite well.  Korbinius is known for loyalty and dedication, and often hard work - something which both Mother and Father exemplify.  And they raised us all to put our all to whatever we’ve turned our hand to - Varien, my brother, has gone to the Legions and he’s where I took inspiration for sword from.  I suppose I should tell him at some point I’ve been working on the spear but if I do he’ll be utterly insufferable as he preferred martial arts and loves to remind me that sometimes I spend more time drawing or playing with spanners than I do ensuring I can fight.  Of course none of that is given to Laelia, but no brother, not even Varien, would want to make their little sister cross.”

Lucien’s family is crafts-wise connected well, and held in standing, but sadly for Lucien in grieving for the loss of his older brother, Varien, in conflict with the Eorzean Alliance.  Laelia looks like a rather willowy cross between their parents, Varien took strongly after their father, and Lucien himself has grown to be more like their father than he had as a younger boy, when he was at first up for guilded crafts apprenticeship, before testing into the Magitek Academy.

2♣️ - What topics of conversation does your muse enjoy the most?

Tea - ah, tea gets Lucien to quite a happy place, as does any scientific developments related to Allag, or magitek.

Mostly tea.

4♥️ - What are your muse’s thoughts on starting/raising a family?

He currently labors under the impression that his elder brother is the one to carry on the family’s name and so he’s not, at all, given any thought of a family either to have or to raise.  Why does he need to?  Varien has the matches all set up, and the accolades to go with them!  He might have even been promoted to pyr by the time he retires and that will surely be what the Korbinius family needs to secure their position in the homeland.

There’d be a bit of grumbling, as well.  Mun-Tay juice, especially fermented, is never back on the list of things to drink ever ever EVER again.

It’s something of a joke but Luc cannot cook.  The only time he’d ever want to sit down and make something tends to be in his workshop and he learned a few turns ago that his focus just can’t handle a stove or oven of any sort if there’s something more enjoyable to focus on.  While this means he can burn almost anything, he really does love a good meal, even if he’s not often one to treat himself to anything more fancy than the standard fare of bread and whatever cheap meat is already done at whatever tavern or inn he stops to.
