Can you tell me more about your OC and Mad Sweeney? Do you have a fic about them I could read? I'm absolutely desperate for more Mad Sweeney/OC content and your OC seems amazing.

Omg thank you so much for asking about my OC! I don’t have a fic yet, it’s all in my head but I’ll throw some MadSun headcanons at you (I’ve tried to base most of my headcanons on what I’ve seen from the TV series cause I haven’t read the book/s).

Sól Bruni is (as I’ve said before) a Norse sun goddess and is counted among the Old Gods. She’s been allies with Wednesday since before they came to America but when they did arrive she had to pledge fealty to him and follow his orders.

Sól is sun fire itself and has an intense aura/vibe about her, something that draws Sweeney’s eyes to her whenever she enters the same room as him. If he has his back to the door he can feel her warmth. Sweeney calls her all sorts of sun related nicknames, Sunfire is his go to though (he sings “You Are My Sunshine” and it drives her crazy cause he’s been doing it for so many years now). Sól hasn’t ever referred to her husband as Mad Sweeney, it has always been just Sweeney.

When Sól and Sweeney first got married centuries ago, Wednesday wasn’t too pleased about the betrothal and he still isn’t happy about it but can’t deny that Sól and Sweeney have made it work through all this time. Since they both work for Wednesday he finds a lot of tasks for the couple to do away from each other to express his displeasure. Wednesday is very much aware of what a powerful weapon Sól could be and intends to use her as such against other Gods, Sweeney is also aware of what Wednesday wants Sól for but neither him nor Sól can do squat about it cause she swore fealty and obedience all that time ago.

There is more headcanon history if you’re still interested after all of this. (I’m still so happy that you asked!)
