Tahiri: Hardest, easiest, and most unexpected thing about love[ing a certain grumpyass Jedi].
Hm, I believe the most unexpected thing would be being in love with him at all. Love tends to require a great deal of trust, and that is not one of my strong suits.
The most difficult is the new set of problems it brings. I...I find myself worrying a great deal more about him now than when we were simply business partners. Yet somehow it is also easier, there is...a comfort to loving him. A hope, I suppose, knowing that whatever happens he will be there with me. That is the easiest part.
How they sleep (sleeping position, schedule, etc): Tahiri keeps a stable sleep schedule, getting about 7 hours a night. She curls up into a ball to sleep, or into Cadem's side when he finally flops into bed.
What music they enjoy: Tahiri likes folk music.
How much time they spend getting ready every morning: About a half-hour
Their favorite thing to collect: Tahiri collects fancy things. Clothes, shoes, jewelry, perfumes, she has quite the wardrobe.
Left or right-handed: Right
Religion (if any): Tahiri's beliefs are similar to the Minbari of Babylon 5. Souls come from the universe and return to it after death
Favorite sport: None, she is not a fan of physical exertion
Favorite touristy thing to do when traveling (museums, local food, sightseeing, etc): Tahiri likes going to the local restaurants and fancy boutiques
Favorite kind of weather: Clear skies and light breezes
A weird/obscure fear they have: Tahiri carries a small scanner to check any room she steps in for listening devices.
The carnival/arcade game they always win without fail: pin-ball
A lone guard marched down the long hallway, sighing a little as he reached the end of his patrol and turned around to do it again. Staring at the same walls for hours on end could drive a man mad.
As he strolled back the way he came, a panel in the floor silently rose out of place. A moment later the guard collapsed to the floor, as though an unseen hand had reached out and flipped a switch in his mind.
The panel slid away and Cadem hoisted himself out. "Finally, fresh air." He reached back down and plucked up a scrambling Khes, setting her down beside him; she blinked and swayed a little. "You alright?"
Khes nodded vigorously, still blinking. "It's really bright up here."
"The adjustment will only take a moment," Tahiri said as Cadem lifted her up. "Cover your eyes if you need to." She stepped forward gracefully, frowning slightly at the unconscious body. "Cadem, would you take care of that?"
"Why am I always taking out the trash?" Cadem asked as he pulled the guard over via Force and slipped him into the hole in the floor.
"Which way?" Khes asked, hand over her eyes.
Cadem spun her around by the shoulders. "That way."
"Watch your step," Tahiri advised as they strode down the hall. "Surrell is rather fond of net traps."
Khes started to ask what she meant by that when a tile clicked underneath her boot. A mess of cables suddenly shot upward, carrying Jedi and smuggler with it. Khes watched in horror as they bounced and swung, eventually settling to a gentle sway. "Sorry!"
"It's alright, Khes." Cadem smirked at the woman in his lap. "More than."
Tahiri gave him a sharp look. "Khes, look for a security console."
"I can cut us out," he offered as the young Zabrak began searching.
"I'm more concerned with whatever alarms this may have triggered."
"Found one!" Khes hollered.
Tahiri shifted so she could see where Khes stood by the wall, a blue console flickering. "Remove the interface panel. It may spark, you will want a cloth of some sort to protect your hands."
Cadem awkwardly shimmied out of his jacket and shucked his shirt, poking the garment through the mesh. "Here you go."
"I am fairly certain you look for any excuse to take your shirt off."
He smirked wickedly, somehow managing a lounging posture in the cramped space. "Are you complaining? It's a nice view."
"And I know every detail of it."
"Are you saying you don't need to see it again?"
"I did not say that." Tahiri peered down through the mesh when she heard a slight clatter of metal. "Khes?"
"I've got it!" Khes bounced a little and dropped the interface on the floor, squeaking at the noise. "Okay, there's a lot of wires and glowy bits."
"Look for a red wire, it should pulse softly." She then turned back to Cadem, who flashed a grin. "I believe we were discussing your tendency to lose articles of clothing."
"You disapprove, Captain?"
Tahiri took a moment to look him over, her tone sly. "Not as much as I perhaps should, Master Jedi. Though I believe I know of a more appropriate place for such actions. My quarters come to mind."
Cadem hummed in approval. "That is tempting."
Khes paused her work, blinking quizzically. "Why would your quarters be a good place for him to lose his clothes?"
Tahiri opened her mouth, then closed it, a sheepish smile on her face. Cadem snickered. "You'll understand when you're older, Khes."
Khes pouted. "That's what everyone says." She returned to her scrutiny of the console works for a moment, then stepped back with a frown. "Tahiri, there aren't any red wires in here."
"Excellent, that means there's no alarm in that console. Now you may get us out of here, Cadem."
Cadem sighed in mock disappointment and drew his lightsaber, careful not to harm either occupant as he cut through the net. He dropped down first and held out his arms to catch Tahiri. "Shall we get back to robbing this son-of-a-hutt blind?" he asked as he set her down on her feet.
"Indeed."
Khes scurried over to them. "Here's your shirt, Cadem." She frowned when he shook his head. "Don't you need it?"
"Nah, I'll be fine."
Tahiri gave him a knowing look. "If you are finished making yourself a distraction."
"Who, me?" He pulled his most innocent face.
"Khes, do you trust that expression?"
Khes shook her head firmly.
"Very wise."
Cadem pretended to look wounded. Tahiri simply smiled and continued down the hall, Jedi in tow.
So I made Aleyri and Vetoni. They're actually fraternal twins, the children of my smuggler Jonaz and a certain Mandalorian merc who is also a Zabrak. >_> <_< (we will just never SAY who she is ICly, MKAY?)
I couldn't decide whose skin color would be dominant so I made one of each and they both have a bit of red and a big of brown to their skin tone, more than I could actually do. Yes, they have hair even though both parents are bald. No, I don't care that it doesn't make sense.
Aleyri is a Knight, going to be a guardian and Vetoni is a consular, going to be a sage.
WHICH ONE SHOULD HANG OUT WITH KHESTRA, ELLEKAI AND CO?
