Right, Khes has the badass martial chops. You generally don’t want Ellekai in offensive mode unless the situation is already too bad to salvage.
I want to say Khes and Ellekai would have a dynamic similar to Obi-Wan and Ahsoka, but that’s not true, because Obi-Wan is also chaotic disaster man, just an insanely charismatic version of one. Ellekai’s version of “competent, careful, and exactly as ingratiating as a runaway garbage truck that’s also on fire” is...unsurprisingly, not a character type that shows up often in action adventure stories for a primary audience of school-aged kids.
