This was a really fun release from @madtoydesign as he teamed up with @mrthesanders for a run of 100% ceramic MAD*L’s - and each was very unique. I managed to snag up this rusted one... and it weighs probably 1/2 a pound. Figured we would do another MAD figure... this is the rad Zombie Robber 8" dunny from @madtoydesign and @kidrobot - released back in 2011 at SDCC, this design was limited to 300 pieces and retailed for $75 a pop... and was one of the first heavily sculpted (in terms of the face/head) 8" Dunny designs. Featuring a giant protruding tongue, it came with a diamond that fit into the head, a removable black knit cap and mask, flashlight, and fabric loot bag... so many accessories. Here is a blast from the past... these were released in the first few years of when @toyqube first started producing figures and the CAPPA KANSER was a platform that Keith created. He asked some artist to do edition and one of said artists was @madtoydesign and these are his colorways that first hit retail in 2007... BLACK (limited to 400) and WHITE (limited to 100). The figure stands 6” tall and comes with a removable ‘cap’ - super unique and stylized - and super hard to balance 😂 regardless... love the figure and this edition by MAD! #spankystokes #madtoydesign #cappa #cappakanser #kanser #toyqube #vinyltoy #vinyltoys #designertoys #designervinyl #bigmoney

I was recently mentioning on a Facebook thread about how designer toys we not created to last... the chemical makeup of them is very unstable, and eventually they will all be piles of goop. Case in point... this FLCL Canti - Barracuda LA Exclusive created by @madtoydesign - all those light black designs on this figure used to be GOLD and parts of the figure are weeping oil (wet parts) - this was released in 2006... so it’ 12 years old now.
