Bloodymary AU where the ocean of blood transforms Simon into a mutant vampire-mermaid-eel creature while Grace is a full aah werewolf whose lunar cycle is all fucked up because, you know, he's not near the moon anymore. BUT the fact that he's a werewolf is, honestly, one of the reasons – if not the reason – that he survived the coma and managed to handle all the crap he had to do to get the Thamoeba without, you know, dying immediately. He and Rocky fish Simon out of the blood moon, Simon ends up feeding on Grace's blood, and since Grace is canonically a cannibal and Simon has super regeneration because at that point he's not even really basic human anymore, he donates some pieces of his eel bits to the cause [insert religious imagery here]. So Grace doesn't almost dies of starvation. Or has scurvy. And Simon keeps his blood bag. Yeah.

Meanwhile, Rocky, who is basically the unwitting witness to this whole bizarre mating process for a good four years and can hardly wait to get to Erid so he can get away from those freaks:
