B8 and B9 for Mae, I2 and I5 for Cookie, E1 for Roger!
Questions for Mae:
Is your OC considered funny? Do they believe they’re funny? Mae is not considered funny. She mostly likes to tell puns or knock knock jokes that everyone has heard and well.. the crew reacts to puns with a grunt and putting their hands to their faces in shame. I think if anyone of the crew thought Mae was funny it would have to be Roger. Mainly because he’s delighted in most things. As for whether she thinks she’s funny… she thinks she invented humour.
What kind of humor does your OC like the most? Slapstick, ironic, funny sounds, scare pranks, xD sO rAnDoM… Mae enjoys slapstick, funny sounds, and … xD sO rAnDoM (”knock knock–” whos there? “Barrel” barrel who? “PINEAPPLE. Knock knock.” Whos there. “pineapple.” Pineapple who. “PINEAPPLE.” Knock knock whos there– i swear to god if you say pineapple. “Pineapple.” … pineapple who … “… banana!” wait what. “Banana you glad I didn’t say pineapple?” THATS NOT HOW THAT GOES “HAR HAR HAR”) . It is what gets her through long shifts on watch.
Questions for Cookie:
Do they have any eating requirements or preferences? Allergies, vegetarian, organic-only, religious restrictions… Cookie’s eating requirements for food would be that it’s cooked decently. He won’t eat anything Mae cooks.(every time he has he got food poisoning. Even for basic things that don’t involve cooking somehow. Thanks, Mae) He has a preference for anything with vegetables and fish. Contrary to what most people think, he is not big on red meats. He will eat them but they are not his favourite. He prefers to cook with food he gets at the farmers market. He is allerigic to strawberries (breaks out into hives) and cashews (puffs up and dies).
Are they a good cook? Cookie is quite a good cook. He learned how to cook from his grandmother. He believes himself to be a close second to his adored grandmother. If he was face to face with a fellow cook who claimed to be better than his grandma you know he would have a cookoff.
Questions for Roger:
Would you say that your OC is intelligent? In what ways? Would your OC agree? I would say that Roger is intelligent. He is very knowledgable on medical practices and procedures. He reads a lot of textbooks and manuals in his spare time, while also collecting herbs and supplies for his practices. Roger can see the good in most people and encourages that of them. Roger is very humble but won’t deny his hard work in his profession; he doesn’t think of himself to be the most intelligent on the ship or in general.
There is a sleazy salesman mae goes to for discounts on gear. Mae hates him but loves his gaudy fashion style. Puck makes sure they don’t get ripped off.
The Oculus Marauder is a space ship in the style of a pirate ship. This is because Mae is a dork, probably and loves that aesthetic. The ship does not have a main mechanic yet. Mae usually goes into shops to get work done but she doesn’t like how much they charge. Mae will sometimes try to do some work but makes things worse than they were. The ship is a bit older as far as space ships go but it gets the job done.
Mae has no sense of style. She probably only wears one outfit because Puck won't let her wear her stupid outfits because last time she did they got laughed at by the captives on a ship they raided
Puck is probably Mae rogers closest friend. Puck knows how Mae likes the ship to be and she can tell when something is wrong with Mae.
I’d like to imagine Mae likes the “classical” stylings of Donkey Kong She’d be like... hey guys I found this old soundtrack let’s play it while we sail and everyone would be tired of Donkey Kong music
