Os chapéus de couro

Cangaceiros não possuem jolly rogers, apesar disso, por ser uma marca registrada de One Piece, achei que valia a pena fazer uma para o bando do Luffy.

Tive muitas dúvidas se mantinha o chapéu de palha (que é muito usa do brasil), mas no fim decidi optar pelo chapéu de couro, que está mais perto dos cangaceiros.

O chapéu de couro é um símbolo do nordeste brasileiro, que começou como proteção dos vaqueiros, mas também para proteger do sol e da chuva e das vegetações espinhosas. Com o começo das atividades dos cangaceiros eles criaram um estilo de chapéu único. O chapéu de cangaceiro era um acessório usado pela maioria dos bandos, e assim como as roupas serviam para serem identificados, para proteção contra o sol e espinhos ao andar pelo mato e as abas para cima protegiam contra a chuva, sem bloquear a visão lateral.

Cada chapéu era feito pelo próprio cangaceiro, apresentando sua personalidade, com elementos de fé e proteção e quanto mais enfeitado, mais poderoso era o dono. No de lampião (rei do cangaço que iniciou a mudança de estilo de chapéu) ele decorou com detalhes em ouro e prata.

Cangaceiros don't have Jolly Rogers, but since it's a trademark of One Piece, I thought it was worth making one for Luffy's crew.

I had many doubts about keeping the straw hat (which is very common in Brazil), but in the end I decided to opt for the leather hat, which is closer to the cangaceiros.

The leather hat is a symbol of the Brazilian Northeast, which began as protection for cowboys, but also to protect from the sun, rain, and thorny vegetation. With the beginning of the cangaceiros' activities, they created a unique style of hat. The cangaceiro hat was an accessory used by most gangs, and just like the clothes, it served for identification, protection against the sun and thorns when walking through the bush, and the upturned brim protected against the rain without blocking peripheral vision.

Each hat was made by the cangaceiro himself, reflecting his personality, with elements of faith and protection, and the more decorated, the more powerful the owner. In the case of Lampião (the king of the cangaço who initiated the change in hat style), he decorated it with details in gold and silver.
