Mae’nat’s first crush?

Mae'nat's first crush was a human girl.

Mae'nat is bisexual. Well, she found out she was bisexual that very day.

The treaty with the station had been signed and she had begged her mother to let her go with her,and while her mother said no about thirty times,Mae'nat only had to say,"what's the use of being the best if im not seen?" And her mother gave in.

Mae'nat had barely walked around the station when a new group of humans appeared,one of them had Mae'nat's full attention-,she was small, had short hair and looked mildly amused,at what Mae'nat didnt know, but she liked the way her lips were pulled into a smirk as she looked over the buildings and people rushing by.

Mae'nat felt attracted,enchanted,locked even. The humans she saw before were ugly,ugly faces scrunched up in scowls and funny expressions she didnt know what it meant. This human was different, despite having short hair,she had a single braid behind her left ear, 'funny',she thought,'why have only one braid? Maybe its ceremonial?',Mae'nat crossed her arms to herself in thought, was she a human warrior? She hoped so,if she was,then Mae'nat would have at least one excuse to talk to her-, 'Could she even understand me?'

"Mae'nat."

Mae'nat jolted back to reality as she heard her mother's annoyed tone.

"Take that stupid look off your face and follow me,and pay attention to your posture",her mother said, already striding off.

When Mae'nat looked back,the pretty human was nowhere to be seen.

"Yes,mother", she sighed,going after her mom.

Mae’nat sounds like one of those types that needs to be knocked down a few pegs and learn humility. And not just after losing the human she fancied. How did her Chiva go? Can’t imagine it was easy for the other two involved with her gunho persona. Heck, does she have any insecurities at all? She must get a lot of pressure from her mom. And what’s her relationship with her siblings?

Mae'nat's Chiva was glorious (to her). Mae'nat trained hard all her life for that moment (Insert Toxic mother pressure here) and it paid off-, her team succeeded as well but weren't nearly as complimented as Mae'nat herself,mostly because her mother held such high expectations for her,Mae'nat's insecurities consist of disappointing her mother above all things,she's so high on this ego horse that any fall would be a catastrophe. Mae'nat's relationship with her siblings is non existent, they consider her a spoiled brat who gets all the attention from mom, they all turned to their Sires for advice and support as Mae'nat's mother would constantly compare them to Mae'nat herself.

Mae'nat is used to getting the cold shoulder from people, from "the weak, envious pups" as her mom would say,reminding her that that will never be a great huntress like she will.
