Maeker has all of Dunk's armour have his initials engraved for anyone and everyone to see, and so subtle it would take the trained eye to see is his very own personal dragon emblem marking Dunk as his own. He'd started out with just small pieces of Dunk's armour and then the last time they got damaged he said he would pay to fix it because Dunk was 'Egg's closest friend and truest companion' little did Dunk know he was gonna be decked out in Maeker Targaryen's sigils and name.
