Curious. Curious.
It wore a shell like the standard variety of Bowser-baddie, but a hairpiece more reminiscent of... Well, honestly Yoshi was having some trouble placing it. His bright sapphires were fixated on those jagged locks, making heads out of tails. However, eventually the time came where the dingus gave in and asked.

It never failed to amaze Mallow how easy it was for him to forget what he was doing. Walking in the forest alone often left the boy alone with nothing but his thoughts, often causing his mind to wander, making him forget the reason he was in the forest in the first place.
So there he was, walking off the beaten path, bust daydreaming while his errand was forgotten. Suddenly, a sound rang out, taking him from his thoughts. Was... was that music he heard...?

Kamek had fallen off his broom, laying sprawled down on the ground for a few moments before getting himself up again. He had not seen that one coming at all. And for that, he laughed.
Ludwigs comment was probably meant in a mocking fashion, or perhaps it was surprise? Either way, Kamek did not mind. Pride beaming from the old man, Ludwig had managed to hit him. Surprising him at the same time, knocking him off the broom entirely. Oh the pride that brought.
‘’No, I did not!’’ Kamek responded in the end as he walked over to Ludwig, still very pleased. This training exercise had gone well.
‘’But I believe we can call it a quit for the day.’’.
