#post posting#mafia posting#paulieeee#remember when i thought he would be the one to betray everyone#el oh el#do you think that was intentional?? sam never really showed any signs of like#betrayal#sure he was always super loyal to the family and he wanted nothing to do with the bank thing#but that doesnt exactly scream “im gonna kill my two best friends”....#paulie was the one who made me feel like something bad was gonna happen#whether that means it would be his doing or just in general#like that talk tommy has with the don about how paulie is “drowning” and hes gonna take tommy down with him#or when he first brought up the bank and he was clearly freaked#and then on the train#he literally said he was getting ready to “punch his ticket”#if the bank thing didnt work out...paulie probably wouldve died anyway#tommy was getting bored + realizing he was in too deep#but paulie was so tired#remember when he had to kill those two guys that were harassing sarah#because tommy couldn't do it.#but then tommy killed morrello without batting an eye#but paulie looked sick to his stomach#the thing that started to turn tommy away from the life was when that woman got killed by the car bomb#(even though i think that was before morello??? whatever)#but the thing that did it for paulie was seeing how tommy changed#its harder to see what tjheir line of work does to a person when it happens to you..but by being able to see it in tommy#that probably made him see what it had done to himself as well#i need to talk about this more or i might explode someone come talk to me#mafia definitive edition#paulie lombardo
