Well,I passed student teaching with a B and an A respectively. wish I had done better in student teaching but I'm GRADUATING on Friday so I don't care that much,lol. Ugh, I hate that. Traditional liturgical practices and customs are less important than correct doctrine, but it does seem like the two almost always go hand-in-hand.
Yeah the vibe I got from the website was like "We're an LC-MS church that wants to draw people in like the supercool non-denoms do so we're going to mimic them" I couldn't watch enough of a sermon to see how the doctrine was so for all I know it could just be the pastor has a thing about robes but it was just weird to see the altar done traditionally and then there's the pastor in khaki's and an untucked plaid button up

What’s your earliest memory? When I was 3, my brother had cancer and was in the hospital a lot. My parents often stayed late at the hospital so were not home when it was my bed time. My grandma would put me to bed in my own bed,then I would sneak out and slip into my parents' bed intending to stay awake til they returned. I always fell asleep. Thankfully,God used the chemotherapy to heal my brother and he has been cancer free for more than 20 years.
Most treasured possession? A locket that belonged to my maternal grandmother
Were you named after anyone? Yes, 4 people in fact. Blanca Cabanas was my mom's best friend at the time. She's from Paraguay and speaks 3 languages:English,Spanish and Huarani, the indigenous language of Paraguay. My middle names, Inez and Suzanne are for my mom's immediate family. Her mother was named Agnes but she hated it because when she was little mean kids called her Saggy Aggy. She made her kids promise not to name a child Agnes so my mom named me Inez which is the Spanish equivalent. Suzanne is for my Aunt Suzanne,my mom's sister and for my aunt Susan, my mom's sister-in-law(married to my mom's brother)
Do you like your handwriting? I hate it! :P I have seriously bad handwriting because I have a mild neurological disability called dyspraxia.
Favorite cookie? White Chocolate Raspberry!

Favorite smell? Peppermint or Vanilla. Peppermint because my grandpa always used to give me peppermints to suck on in church.Vanilla because it was my voice teacher's perfume scent when I was in high school. She was my favorite teacher and the reason I am a music major.
What book are you reading now? Three different Lutheran books. CFW Walther's The Proper Distinction Between Law and Gospel, Bo Giertz's The Hammer Of God(on hold, waiting for vouxcroux so we can read it together), and Gene Veith's The Spirituality Of The Cross.
Farthest you’ve been from home? Berlin,Wittenberg,and Leipzig, Germany.
What’s your hidden talent? I can read aloud in Latin,French,German,and Italian. I don't know what most of it means but thanks to Diction class,I can pronounce the heck out of the Romance languages.
