god okay i just. i have some byler wishes for season 4 alright. i want a happy reunion with something more in the air, something unspoken, something hidden just beneath the i missed you and how have you been. i want more lingering touches; a brush of hands, an arm over a shoulder, a hug with suspicious longevity. i want more skittish eye contact and stolen glances. i want more eyes darting to lips before darting away, followed by the implicit why did i do that and why do i keep doing that. i want the silent i love you’s in i made you a mixtape and i painted this for you. i want apologies and promises with heart-melting sincerity, words that pledge loyalty, devotion, protection. i want a gentle love amidst the inevitable chaos.
