Have you ever been lost?
Imagine spending a day or a night in the big city of London, either Central or urban London, without your small portable pocket computer, i. e. your mobile phone. How odd would that be?
Here’s top 3 reasons why it’s worth getting lost:
1) You can find and explore new unseen places. From independent coffee shops to big brand restaurants, to narrow alleyways with new building without a set post code. Imagine being one step ahead of Google Maps. Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
2) You scroll through social media every day and listen to/ read people’s stories. You either know those people or you don’t, you yet engage with their stories. Now, imagine, actually speaking with people, like the bar lady who’s serving you a pint, or the barista who’s making you a coffee. Most of the time those workers are foreigners, and they’re working hard and long hours, so a lovely friendly conversation asking about how their day is going, could make them feel appreciated and might give you a free coffee? Or how about talkin with homeless people? Or buying them food instead of giving them money? Imagine how great you will make their day!
3) Everyone loves to travel and enjoy themselves in new countries and cities, right? Now imagine being a tourist in your own city! The thrill of exploring new places that are not even on Google Maps, or find places on Google maps you’d wanted to visit. Either way, the thrill is there. And it can be both inspiring and refreshing! And imagine if it’s sunny! You’d love it and great photos can come out of it! Or if it’s rainy? You’ll have a funny story to tell your mates and great memories to keep a hold of!
So next time you go out, get lost, and enjoy yourself! Because the best memories come from unplanned events!
