What kind of person do you feel Judar would be interested in? Like his 'ideal type'

That's a very interesting question...

Well, going off what was stated in the official guidebook, Judar's 'type' was described to be 'someone with a personality opposite of his'. It can also be noted that he favors 'strong people'...

So when we mix that together...I think Judar would be attracted to someone who is strong, not just in strength, but in personality, mind, and heart. Someone who is kind-hearted and gentle, yet not in a weak way that would make them a pushover. I think personality would be a big factor here, so if he met someone with a personality he deemed interesting enough, he'd be after them. And they're strong too? That's a major bonus

Think of it as an 'opposites attract' kind of thing...since Judar is an asshole, he would work well with someone who's not an asshole. Balance and compatibility is key :)

Judar courting headcanons

Working on a short fic atm but reading @silenceofthecookies ' super sweet courting headcanons for Kouen I felt inspired to write some for Judar.

Now for Judar to show genuine interest in a person is rare. Like really, really rare. There‘s a few people that might initally catch his eye but he‘ll lose interest rather qluickly. Takes someone special for him to not be bored.

Having said that there‘s no need for his crush to be conventionally attractive as long as there‘s something interesting about them. Much like Kouha he singles out characters. He‘s drawn to unique people. Whether that be physically (scars, dyed hair, tattoos, an interesting fashion sense) or in terms of personality.

If he does end up falling for someone they‘ll be the center of attention. Boy‘s head over heels despite not wanting to admit it a first.

Romantic feelings and honesty are a delicate topic (and a sign of weakness and source of embarrassment) so Judar wouldn‘t straight up confess. If his crush was to simply ask though he‘d be like Isn‘t that obvious, idiot?

Very much afraid of being rejected. His exceptional self-confidence doesn‘t necessarily apply in such a case. If he was only looking to have some fun? Sure, no problem. He‘ll be the most cocky lil shit and pursue them right away. If it‘s an actual relationship he‘s after though that pride is nowhere to be found.

Now, while he won‘t voice his feelings, he‘ll court them by constantly showing up wherever they are. Finding excuse to spend time with them, taking them on trips and slowly opening up to them (i.e. maybe giving away some teeny tiny bits about his past or general interests).

Will gift them something once in a blue moon. But rather than buying flowers or a necklace he‘d show up with something that reminded him of them. Could be totally random like a dessert or a literal rock. It‘s highkey cute though. Will definitely be flustered if they like it and hug him to show their appreciation.

If he ends up making a move his crush will have no idea what‘s coming. They‘ll be out like usual, his crush oblivious to the fact Judar's treating this as a date.

If the time feels right he‘ll slowly lean in to kiss them, giving them a chance to back out. This way, if they reject him after the kiss, he can just mock them and write it off as a joke. If they reciprocate though he‘ll be over the moon.

Once the relationship‘s established there‘s no trace left of his initial hesitation. Judar will flaunt his partner every chance he gets, showing them off to everyone and generally hyping them up. Damn right, they‘ve gotta be an awesome person if they‘re with a magi as great as himself.

this may sound weird but have any sinbad hair headcanons, like if he takes good care of his hairdo and what not, this sounds so weird I'm sorry

To Sinbad, one of his most favorite features about himself is his hair; he loves everything about it to death, the color, the texture, the length…just everything; and he makes sure to take very good care of it and always uses the best of the best shampoos and conditioners. His favorite type of shampoo is anything that has a nice scent to it, such as an exotic fruit or something sweet like cinnamon or even flowers . He also brushes it at least 200 times every night before bed, after all he’s got to keep it looking nice and soft for the ladies ;)

His hair is so great-looking, it makes females jealous. Often times women will come up to him and ask him what his secret is to have such glorious hair, to which makes Sinbad get all haughty as he gladly explains the tricks to keeping hair looking as good and glorious as his (well not as good, but close) and even offers to let them feel it.

No matter what, Sinbad will never cut his hair. Never. If anyone even simply suggests it, like cutting off so much as an inch, he’ll freak out and clutch his purple mane close protectively and be ready square up. He’s always liked having his hair long ever since he was young and intends to keep it that way forever. Though on a more personal part, one of the reasons he chooses to keep his hair so long is because of his mother, Esra; he remembers her hair being so beautiful, thick, and long that he wants to keep his the same way, just as hers was.

He often likes it when others do his hair and will gladly let anyone style his hair (just as long as they have no scissors) and finds it cute when young kids want to play with his hair; he’ll even happily wear the style they did as appreciation for their work.

Bonus:

Once when preparing for a meeting, Sinbad discovered one of his greatest fears had occurred-he had a gray hair. Being his dramatic self, he threw a fit and locked himself away in his room, crying and refusing to come out  as he was too overwhelmed by the fact that he was “growing old” and ‘loosing his good looks’. It took the generals about an hour or two to convince him to come out with the promises that he was in fact, still ‘young and handsome as ever’ and had nothing to worry about. But of course the fact that Sharrkan and Pisti were snickering to themselves about ‘Old man King Sinbad’ didn’t help at all.

Can I request a head cannon? What if Judar meet a person with the same sarcastic and devilish humour as him, but is still a nice and caring person? Do you think that they would get along?

I kinda wrote the person as a s/o, if that’s okay!

Judar would be intrigued by this person--he would find it great to spend time with someone like that, as they shared the same sense of humor and love for causing havoc as he did. They’d get along quite well in that regard, and would definitely team up to torment and pull pranks on those around them (main target: Kou siblings) 

The fact that they’re also a nice and caring person would interest him even more. I think he’d be drawn to someone like that, and though he definitely wouldn’t show it, he’d appreciate their kindness and warmth and could possibly find comfort in their presence. Perhaps, they could be the ones he clings to when the nightmares become too much, or to comfort him those feelings of guilt that he’s buried for so long begin to stir. After all, it was stated that Judar is attracted to someone who has the opposite personality of him’...so who knows? He may end up falling for them

Magi characters and which pet names they'd call you

Judar:

- shows his appreciation through relentless teasing

- so quite literally anything that gets a reaction out of you

- you get embarrassed by him calling you Love? he'll keep doing it in the most teasing and sarcastic tone possible

- things like shorty or stupid are a daily occurence. all in good fun though.

- now, if he's exceptionally emotional or hurt from a battle, you'll very rarely hear him call you Beautiful or Angel

- won't ever call you by your actual name unless he's really, really, REALLY pissed or on the verge of dying

Hakuryuu:

- definitely the traditional type

- expect things like Love, Darling, Dearest and Beautiful

- can totally picture him using those instead of calling you by your name

- so when he does use it, it's extra special and feels even more intimate

- once you're in an established relationship however I can totally magine a switch flick during sexy times and him calling you the single most vulgar and shameless names in the book. loves your flustered expression.

Kouha:

- the type to use overly cute pet names and simultaneously the only one that get's away with it

- Angel and Sunshine are his favourites

- Sweetheart, Lovely, Cutie Pie, Princess

- all of these and more

- Kouha's certainly the most creative with an endless repertoire of pet names and he'll make good use of that

Sinbad:

- totally dependant on his mood

- he'll either be quite conservative calling you Love, Dearest etc,

- or the most sappy, embarrassing out of the bunch

- calling you things like sweet cheeks, baby cakes, babe, hot stuff

- secretly cringes it at but your embarrassed reaction is way too good to pass up

Headcannons for Hakuryuu, and Judar (seperate) finding out that Gyokuen flirted with their s/o and was getting really handsy, almost borderline molestation, and was completely ignoring how obviously uncomfortable they were

Hakuryuu

Hakuryuu would lose his shit; If he didn’t already hate that woman’s guts enough before, he most definitely hated her now and wanted nothing more than to go and rip her head off and throw her headless, bleeding corpse into a furnace--then feed the remains to her household monsters. 

Bloodlust filling his veins, Hakuryuu would try to keep calm as he listens to what his beloved tells him about the assault--but on the inside, he’s raging. How dare that woman lay a hand on the person he loved most in the world? She had taken everything from him-his father, his brothers, his innocence-now she sunk her wicked claws into the one person who brought him happiness? It was all some twisted game for her, seeing him suffer. But that would all change soon. He was quickly gaining power, and once his training was finished, he would make that witch pay once and for all.

Because of this incident, Hakuryuu would retort to some serious measures in order to keep his s.o far from Gyokuen’s grasp. He’ll try to stick by their side whenever he can, or better yet, keep them by his side. Or times when he’s not around them, he’ll even order them to stay within his wing of the palace at all times, where he knows they will be safe and far from Gyouken’s sight--he’ll have guards posted around every corner to ensure that nobody would go in or out without his permission. It may become isolating for his s/o, but Hakuryuu assures them that he’s doing it for their own good and safety--and for his sanity.

Judar

Judar is livid. He nearly goes ballistic the moment he hears of Gyokuen’s actions and is seconds away from storming the place and slaughtering the bitch on sight, as his reckless anger takes over him. It takes his s/o to calm him down but even then he still couldn’t wrap his mind around the fact that she had the audacity to lay a hand on what belonged to him, let alone in the manner she did it.

It’s no secret that Judar was quite a possessive person; he didn’t like anyone near his s/o, only so if he allowed it. Any fool who came at them the wrong way was instantly met a painful, torturous consequence. Because he was protective as he was possessive. So the thought of Gyokuen touching them, running her disgusting fingers over their bodies just drove him insane. It drove him insane because he knew that he hadn’t been able to do anything about it.

Judar noticeably sticks by their side more, almost never letting his s/o out of his sight. He’ll shrug off any question as to why he’s always around them now, claiming he was only ‘bored’ and wanted their ‘entertaining’ presence around, but deep down he knows it’s not the truth. It was far more than that. He’s sticking around because if that woman ever dared to try to come near his s/o again, there will be hell to pay. And it wouldn’t be his blood that would be spilled.

Judar being sick hcs:

it's almost 1:30am, I'm in bed and very tired so bear with me.

• okay so this can go one of two ways

• the first being that he's just down with a mild cold

• will turn into even more of a diva. thought the dark continent arc was the climax of his antics? well think again

• Judar's demanding care and food every 0.2secs and keeps reminding everyone within earshot of how sick he is

• doesn't see it as a sign of weakness weirdly enough. he's canonically admitted to being on the weaker side (physically) so this is pretty much just another effect of that

• okay, talking about the second scenario in which he genuinely feels terrible

• complete 180. doesn't want to be bothered at all.

• brought food? put it down and leave. need anything? better not dare say a word and come back another day.

• will not give anyone the time of day except for Hakuryuu and Kougyoku

• though even Kougyoku knows not to stay for too long, so she just makes sure Judar's taken care of

• being sick has a huge influence on his personality and he turns into a quiet and very vulnerable version of his usual self

• it's during these times that he wonders what having a proper family would feel like. like a mom that looks after you rather than those old Al Thamen jeezers pretending to give a shit

• though he's obviously never going to admit that out loud

• Hakuryuu knows though. he knows and can relate yet doesn't say a word. which is part of the reason he's the only one allowed in for a prolonged period of time

• Judar would probably tell him to get into bed. doesn't ask for cuddles but slowly drapes his arms around Hakuryuu's waist and nuzzles his face into his king's shoulder

• complete putty once Hakuryuu starts running his slender fingers through his heavy tangled hair

• he'd kill for his for it even if it isn't helping the massive headache right now

• deeply thankful there's at least one person that genuinely cares about his well-being. not because they have to but because they want to.

• will fall asleep all cuddled up to Hakuryuu, finally getting some much needed rest and with the faintest of smiles on this lips

Currently stuck at work so I thought why not post some Judar headcanons.

How characters pass their freetime is one thing that‘s always intruiged me considering not even someone as chaotic as Judar is always going to be out and about wreaking havoc.

Judar freetime hcs:

- reading. now hear me out on this one. Judar may not seem the book type and while Al Thamen has taught him quite a bit, it‘s still very unlikely he turned into such a powerful magi without any effort of his own

- Judar just lounging around in a hammock peacfully reading lives in my head rent-free

- so he‘s read his fair share of magic related books

- but it‘s not limited to that. I can totally picture him being interested in warfare novels or the occasional thriller.

- not one for romance or drama. history books aren‘t exactly up his alley either. Judar‘s someone that lives in the moment, probably more so than any of the other characters, so what does he care about anyone long gone?

- napping in the peach trees

- he's an early bird and I will not be convinced otherwise. sure, there‘s days where he likes to sleep in but in general he wakes up pretty early (after the servants but way before any members of the royal family)

- pranks. basically canon and doesn‘t require further elaboration

- Judar‘s terrible at anything remotely domestic. cleaning? cooking? sewing? yeah no way in hell. doesn‘t care about it for the most part but does get a little inscure when people point it out.

- having said that, he‘s still going to experiment in the kitchen with whatever crazy food craving pops up that day. most turn out terrible, so he‘ll just tell the servants to make something instead.

- it‘s canon that he‘s physcially weak so doesn‘t really partake in training or sparring with anyone. though, he enjoys watching Hakuryuu from time to time

- Judar‘s a foodie. will roam the streets of Kou and follow whatever scent catches his interest.

- okay, the last one‘s a stretch and I‘m certain most won‘t agree but the picture of him gardening won‘t leave me alone. it‘s not the endresult he cares about but rather the process of it. It takes his mind of the endless boredom and let‘s him relax for a bit. though, you‘ll find him trampling the very things he sowed.
