The Princess of the East by sbrigs I would like to formally introduce you all to the main character of my novel, Riley N. Curcio. Riley's powers and royal bloodline are the central driving force behind the story as well as her growing importance in the world she's coming to know. Riley is a Lightning Keeper meaning she control electricity and can also use electromagnetism to control metals. Her sword is an alloy of Electrum and Steel that was forged with magic so the blade is black. Riley got her powers very late and so she was kept in the dark about her family's magic as well as their importance being that her Grandfather is the king of the Eastern American Council (aka the Eastern 3rd of the United States) This is a very solemn shot of her but you'll see some more interesting illustrations of her later when I finish the book! Also let's hope my ability of drawing backgrounds improves because wow I suck. But if you want to see a really incredible illustration done of Riley check this out! The Boys of Lightning and Thunder by sbrigs Draco (the 17/18 year old on the left) and Cole ( the 22 year old on the right) Bonachello, the two brothers who make one hell of a storm together. Drake's powers are electricity based so he can manipulate lightning and even electromagnetism when he needs to. Cole is the only knighted brother at this point and also a living legend. Cole's power's are dual powers of Wind and Water together. He can essentially create hurricanes, his powers are extremely rare, someone with his powers is born about every 30 years or so. He's one of the only 4 living Keepers with his powers. Because of his powers he was treated as a prodigy and began training at age 13 and is now one of the most lethal knights on the planet. His social skills are terrible but few people (apart from his mother and brother and a close friend) really mind Cole's coldness and harshness. Drake is more essential to the story line as he has a close teaching relationship with my main character. He's also is the opposite of his brother in about every way. Drake is the spitting image of his father, Cole looks like his mother's fair skinned, light haired side of the family. Drake controls lightning, Cole can make storms. Cole is very distant and quiet, Drake has a heart of gold and good sense of humor. Their relationship has been one of the my favorites to write :) Hope you like the boys!
