The Wolf Prince by sbrigs

Well back to actually uploading things from my book again! Here we have one of the most important characters in my story, Sean Brycan the Wolf Prince Sean is part of an ancient nomadic group of people from Scottish lands who used their magic to become more like wolves hence their features like; gold/silver eyes, elongated K-9 teeth (not pictured), Long hair that forms manes around their necks, heightened senses and physical capabilities, etc. Sean became a character with one of the biggest turn arounds because when I first started writing, Sean was a 180º different character. Also one of the most difficult to draw accurately to how I pictured him but this is pretty damn close :)

Faster Than the Wind Passionate As Sin by sbrigs Title is a multi-pun as the girls' last name is Taylor and their power is the ability to manipulate the winds. Jess (on the left) is the oldest of the two, also the taller of the two. Jess is 20 years old and the maternal figure of the main characters. She's very protective and patient (with everyone but her sister). And Carly (on the right) is much more like her element. She's very strong and lithe like the winds and also a bit wild. Carly is the middle child (16) of the Taylor family but her brother has yet to come into his powers so he isn't in the story much. Carly and her brother look more similar than her and Jess do. Jess is more like her lord father: tall, lean, and professional. Carly is shorter (5'7 compared to Jessica's 5'10) and broader, especially from her mastering archery she's got very strong shoulders. As far as their armor and weaponry goes. Jess uses long knives and her wind powers to make herself faster and her daggers can be used as very lethal throwing knives. Her armor is enchanted steel scale mail. Carly uses her bow, along with her powers to make her shooting more powerful and accurate. Carly's armor is white leather enchanted to be tougher and resistant to fire and ice. Carly prefers leather to mail or plate armor because it allows her to move more nimbly. Something to Prove by sbrigs Believe it or not he isn't my central character but Dustin is slowly winning my heart the more scenes I write with him. This is a picture I drew a few months ago. And one I should redraw because Dustin is actually much broader in the book, he's a short beefy kid with a lot to prove. He used to be much heavier and weaker, which wasn't easy when his brother was a tall, lean handsome kid who had a natural aptitude for magic and academic success. Dustin uses a spear to fight with, and also keeps a simple sword on him for close combat but he can do some serious damage with a spear. The Princess of the East by sbrigs I would like to formally introduce you all to the main character of my novel, Riley N. Curcio. Riley's powers and royal bloodline are the central driving force behind the story as well as her growing importance in the world she's coming to know. Riley is a Lightning Keeper meaning she control electricity and can also use electromagnetism to control metals. Her sword is an alloy of Electrum and Steel that was forged with magic so the blade is black. Riley got her powers very late and so she was kept in the dark about her family's magic as well as their importance being that her Grandfather is the king of the Eastern American Council (aka the Eastern 3rd of the United States) This is a very solemn shot of her but you'll see some more interesting illustrations of her later when I finish the book! Also let's hope my ability of drawing backgrounds improves because wow I suck. But if you want to see a really incredible illustration done of Riley check this out! The Boys of Lightning and Thunder by sbrigs Draco (the 17/18 year old on the left) and Cole ( the 22 year old on the right) Bonachello, the two brothers who make one hell of a storm together. Drake's powers are electricity based so he can manipulate lightning and even electromagnetism when he needs to. Cole is the only knighted brother at this point and also a living legend. Cole's power's are dual powers of Wind and Water together. He can essentially create hurricanes, his powers are extremely rare, someone with his powers is born about every 30 years or so. He's one of the only 4 living Keepers with his powers. Because of his powers he was treated as a prodigy and began training at age 13 and is now one of the most lethal knights on the planet. His social skills are terrible but few people (apart from his mother and brother and a close friend) really mind Cole's coldness and harshness. Drake is more essential to the story line as he has a close teaching relationship with my main character. He's also is the opposite of his brother in about every way. Drake is the spitting image of his father, Cole looks like his mother's fair skinned, light haired side of the family. Drake controls lightning, Cole can make storms. Cole is very distant and quiet, Drake has a heart of gold and good sense of humor. Their relationship has been one of the my favorites to write :) Hope you like the boys! The Daughter of The Northern Winds by sbrigs My character Jessica Taylor, her family rules over the northern part of the kingdom and her family all has the ability to manipulate the air. Making her known as "the Daughter of the Northern Winds". Jess is the oldest of the group of kids (20) and the kind of mother figure. She's very maternal and caring but also very protective and intimidating when she needs to be. Her family's sigil is a horse which is why the pommel of her long knives are shaped like horse heads. She's probably one of the most subtly important characters in my story and will have a lot more twists and turns in her story later on down the road. The Hartley Boys by sbrigs Dustin Hartley (18) and Sir Michael Hartley (22) other image of Mike here: sbrigs.deviantart.com/art/To-S… Two of my favorite characters from my story. The two of them are brothers, very different personalities. Michael takes after his mother's side of the family so he's taller and more gifted in magic. Dustin is short and stocky like his father and so he makes up for his height with his skills with a spear. Mike is the more scholarly of the two and was also knighted at age 20. Dustin has yet to be knighted but aspires to be one since Mike is the oldest and first in line for their father's title as a lord. This was a rather quick sketch that I colored and shaded but this is my only picture of the two of them together thus far. The Lightning Keeper by sbrigs My character Draco from my story, he's a Lightning Keeper (kind of like a Firebender who can redirect lightning in layman's terms) His sword is an enchanted steel and covered with a thin layer of enchanted gold which means its light, strong and a good conductor of electricity. The sword type itself is an old style Turkish Kilij the curve increases a draw cut perfect for slashing but the weighted tip makes it even more lethal. And he's one of my oldest and most beloved characters.

To Set The West in Flames by sbrigs The character pictured here is Michael Hartley the young Lord of the West. His powers include the ability to control fire and use magic at an adept level and he's incredibly well read. I know this is a bad shot of his face but I thought the aesthetics of it were interesting enough. I'll upload the picture of him and his brother either over the weekend or early next week so stay tuned!
