The rains in the hallow seem to trigger some sort of response in the plants of the hallow. Usually the hallow explodes with massive amounts of crop yield, the trees pratically sagging under the weight of the fruit on them, the garden so bountiful that its almost a rush to actually use up the plants so they don't rot.
And while the hallow does have plenty of fruit, berries, veggies and nuts to be harvested, the rains seem to encourage the flowers. Which bloom bigger and more colourfully than ever. They even seem to be... moving?
A dandelion, a bright cheerful yellow, shifts itself to face the sleeping and sprawled out form of Dame. As the flower presses its face into her leg, she jumps up with a sound of surprise and then snaps at it. The many daisies, buttercups, white clover and a nearby bushy mass of bugloss all crowd in upon her. She quickly retreats away from them and wades into the, fortunately flowerless, unfinished pond.
All the flowers in the hallow appear to come to life, reaching for people nearby, and the petals of them almost seem to bite into those in the hallow. Not painfully, just curiously, as they seek out the other life in the area. It would feel not unlike the fish that eat dead skin, lots of ticklish nibbles, more likely to make you squirm away, than to flinch.
