Shift of Comfort

A light undergarment made of soft material- usually linen but sometimes silk- this cream colored shift is barely longer than a normal shirt, short enough to be tucked into trousers if necessary. The wearer of the shift will be perfectly comfortable in temperatures ranging from 120 to 32 degrees F, becoming neither warm enough to sweat nor cold enough to shiver in those environments. If exposed to more extreme temperatures, the shift adjusts those temperatures by 20 degrees towards human body temperature for the wearer.

The shift stays clean and fresh at all times, even when the person wearing it is not. It provides no armor class bonus, and may be worn under or with magical armor. It is obviously well made and beautifully embroidered at the edges, though of course NOBODY would go around in just their underwear, right? It magically resizes to fit the wearer, and provides a small amount of support to the well-endowed, though not enough to really stand up to heavy exercise without additional clothes.

There also exist boxer shorts of comfort, which provide the same benefit to those who prefer them.
