I think the magic wand would be more useful if it did the following:

1. Let apparel items be used in every slot, not just one of the 8 slots 2. Let apparel items continue to exist in inventory/storage despite being assigned to a slot 3. Allow assigning pro custom designs  This is actually allowed! I missed it originally! 4. Putting on other apparel items should dispel the “transformation” automatically

In its current state, I’m only in it for the animation. I wouldn’t use it on a regular basis as I like to wear a lot of the headgear pieces across multiple outfits.

Here is how you can use the Magic Wand Tool in Photoshop to create your desired effects.

To use the magic wand tool, first select an image with the mouse over the Properties. Under the Image Options, select Background, and then choose any solid color as the Source. Then, click on the magic wand icon in the toolbar. A white option bar will appear where you can choose a random color and specify the number of pixels to remove from the background, in this option, you have to specify the amount — the more number of pixels the higher the quality of the background will be.
