2 more for you ala the Natman rewatch: - CATWOMAN (2004): I had never seen it. I remember it was immediately panned at the box office. Once again, surprised by it. Didn't really know what to expect. Silly and cheesy? Sure but no more than Batman and Robin. In fact, much less. I think people balked about how Halle Berry's character became Catwoman w/ powers. To me, the supernatural element made more sense than Pfeiffer just being licked by a bunch of cats. Berry looked amazing and kicked ass. Some of the effects were a little lame though. But I enjoyed her swagger. And Sharon Stone as a bad as villain was nice. Not great but still watchable. - BATMAN: THE MOVIE (1966): Another I've seen a few times but probably not for over 25 years. Yes super silly. But so many fun moments. I forgot just how long it takes Batman to get rid of that damn bomb! Stupid duck family and nuns! And wow is it fighty. The many punch-ups last longer than they should have. And watching Joker, Penguin and Riddler trading blows is hilarious. Burgess Meredith almost slipping several times. Lee Meriwether in the dual role of Catwoman/Miss Kitka is great though the misogynistic villains treat her terribly. Literally one point asking her to get a dust pan to sweep up the dehydrated victims. Wow. She should have been like "FUCK YOU JOKER I DID ALL THE WORK!" Of course, shark repellent. (Didn't remember that the chopper also had whale, barracuda and manta-ray repellent...why whale?). #catwoman #halleberry #sharonstone #magicalcats #batman #batmanandrobin #adamwest #burtward #joker #penguin #riddler #batman66 https://www.instagram.com/p/CArOKToBqjO/?igshid=1bm3osidqh33z
