What kind of technology do you have access to now, insofar as maps, survival guides, area markers and whatnot? Assuming you'd have to travel, making sure you know the lay of the land enough to beat a quick retreat would be ideal, as would knowing enough of how to deal with the local flora and fauna, nevermind knowing how to search for your next meal should your current supplies run out.

And, of course, there’s a generator that supplies power to the cabin. Only problem is reception is pretty shoddy, so the Pokégear isn’t as useful as it’d be if I were closer to a town (not that calling anyone would do much good).
