Witcher Decisions: The Volunteer
For those that do not know, “The Volunteer” is the quest that involves Trololo the Troll, aka the Redanian Patriot troll. Firstly, I always let him live. I don’t think that the troll had bad intentions, he was just doing the job that was asked of him in protecting the boats that the Redanian soldiers seized. He clearly did not mean to kill anyone and then the reason he cooked them was because he was hungry. He is just a troll after all and food isn’t easy to come by for him. Secondly, I get him the paint and then put my Witcherly painting skills to the test for him. Which I know everyone jokingly mocks Geralt’s painting skills but honestly I think he did a good job. This is one of my favorite side quests in the game as it gives you a tough decision in whether or not to let the troll live and then if you decide to let him live, you get a very cute and funny scene. :)
