Witcher Decisions: ForeFather’s Eve
Wikia Entry
ForeFather’s Eve is a quest that begins after you complete A Towerful of Mice in Velen. It involves The Pellar, who will contact you outside of Keira Metz’s house or at the forge in Crow’s Perch, depending on if you have completed the Family Matters quest yet. The Pellar will ask you to protect him and a group of villagers during the ForeFather’s Eve ritual on Fyke Isle.
Once the ritual begins, you will have to fight off some drowners, drowned dead, and a water hag. After that, The Pellar will summon a ghost which turns out to be his father, Ambros. After this, three witch hunters will appear as they believe the ritual to be a site of necromancy and you will get to make the big choice of this quest. You can either keep protecting The Pellar or leave and let the witch hunters disband the ritual. I always choose to keep protecting The Pellar. I am never a fan of the witch hunters and even though I think that the ritual is strange, that does not mean that it should not be allowed to happen. Choosing this will mean that you must kill the three witch hunters but they are all scum so who cares. This will also mean that you must then fight off spirits that were attracted to the blood from the fight. Defeat them and then you must travel into Crookback Bog and burn the body of The Pellar’s father so that his wraith will never return. After that, return to The Pellar to complete the quest.
Killing the witch hunters will result in a lot more of a hastle for this quest but I still always choose it. Fuck the witch hunters. Thank you for reading and let me know what you chose for this quest! :)
