Aizawa is the owner of that shop. You adopt a cute red bird. In the morning, you surprise to find a small red harpy in its place. And... where did a black crow harpy and a shadow come from?? 🤣
It had been a late night for you:working with your Wizard mentor to learn magic and potions. You had accidentally turned him into a frog and had to find another wizard to fix him, he sent you home early. Feeling down on your luck you decided maybe a familiar will help , maybe a cat or something? Whatever was fine honestly. You just wanted to get better at magic.
So you hopped on your broom and flew out of the mushroom village into the little Trade center where the shops and supplies were. They were all little stands and some were stone or brick buildings with colorful glow in the dark rocks around the roofs. You landed outside a certain shop that read ‘Curious Pawprints’ on it. Gong inside you were greeted with many...many cats yowling and a man sitting at his desk.
“Hey y/n , how's it going..?” asked the man, he was very tall, lean and had long black hair and a purple cat sleeping in his white scarf.
“i'm okay… i turned Mr Fronz into a frog...and i think i need a familiar”
“Oh my, that's very funny. Well have a look around.”
The shop was full of all sorts of animals; cats, dogs, birds, lizards, dragons. It was always a fun little store to go into because of all the animals. You did not want a cat or a dog though, you wanted something that could fly around and be with you always…
“Shota..? How much for these”? You asked, pointing to a red bird and a black bird in a cage sleeping on each other looking quite happy.
“hm..? “ he got up holding his cat making sure he did not fall and walked over pulling his cloak around his body and leaned down to look in the cage. “Ah. 250 Gold. you have to take both though. They dont like to be separated”
“That's interesting…most birds dont like each other, ill take em Shota”
“Excellent.” you exchanged the gold and Shota handed the cage over along with some magic seeds and food along with bedding”
“Shota…? Why the seeds?”
“ oh its a special treat. I give them each one at night. They did not have any tonight because they were flying around the shop today and tired themselves out, so if they wake up make sure they both get one , okay? Just one.”
“Kay! Thank you Shota as always.” you gave him a quick hug and pet the sleepy purple kitty. Shota waved goodbye and you left for home feeling happy about your purchase.

When you got home both birds woke up and took in the new area. They were highly curious since this was not the pet shop they grew up in. and who were you? And why did you have a with hat? Were you a witch? You did not look like a witch. You set the cage and your broom stick and saw the birds awake and staring at you.
“Oh! Uhm, im y/n , im going to be taking care of you, i uh hope we can be friends and learn magic together!”
The birds looked at eachother then you, the squawked loudly flying around the cage.
“ uh !! here here !!” you opened the cage and the two flew out scanning every single inch of the house and inspecting every magical thing you had on your shelves knocking them down.
“ hey hey guys please!!!” you whined pulling your hat from your head to hug it trying to think of a way to get them to settle down. “ uhhhhh, SEEDS oh ! you guys want a treat?!”
Both birds landed on the shelf staring at you watching you frantically try to get the bag open, they flew over taking the bag, eating every seed in the tiny bag.
“ no no Shouta said only one!”
It was too late. The bag was empty and both birds were asleep on each other again looking very satisfied.
“Ugn.. i hope this is okay… im going to bed..”
That night a bright but small red and black light was shining in your living room, it was not bright enough to wake you up, but two small creatures were awake now and they were full of curiosity and energy.
In the morning you woke up sneezing a feather off your nose, your eyes fluttered open and you saw two tiny harpys staring at you and sitting on your bedside desk. Yous sat up not thinking anything of it , getting out of bed to go shower. They looked at each other and watched you leave. Seconds later you ran back dropping to your knees staring at the two. They waved and said hello to you.
You blinked quite a few times. “Oh f-!...”
