Sam teetered on the ladder, having to grab the ceiling to prevent himself from falling off. After he secured himself, he clutched his chest, where his heart was still pounding. After taking a few moments for a breather, he huffed out a breath before returning his attention to the sign he was hanging up. He finally secured the nail with a grunt before climbing down the ladder and admiring his handiwork. Happy Anniversary! was scrawled on the banner in blue font and had confetti sprinkled on it. Three different pies were laid out on the table, along with some beer and some cards.
Sam heard Dean come in and hurried to put the stuff away and grabbed a plate of pie before standing in the center of the room with an expectant expression on his face. Dean came in a froze at the sight, his keys still in his hands. “What’s this, Sammy?” he asked after a moment, a smile starting to cross his face. “Happy 10th anniversary, Dean,” Sam replied with a little smile, handing the plate of pie to him and giving him a kiss. Dean kissed him back before taking a bite of the pie. “So we have pie, beer, some movies and those cards,” Sam explained, pointing over at the table. “They’re bedroom cards, giving you permission to do whatever you want to me. Whatever you want,” Sam repeated with a smug smile on his face as he watched the pie slide off the fork as Dean stared at him. Dean growled slightly at the smirk and set the plate aside, reaching for Sam. Can we get a repeat of happy anniversary?
