Hangs the stockings? Sammy.

Leaves cookies and milk out to keep up with the Santa tradition? Sammy. Sam teases him about it to watch him blush.

“Accidentally” throws away the fruitcake? Sam.

Goes overboard on the whipped cream? Sam….because he wants to use the extra on Sammy.

Is the inevitable Christmas Grinch? Sam.

Wakes up first on Christmas? Sammy.

Rolls their eyes as the same cheesy carol plays in the stores for the millionth time? Sam.

Starts playing Christmas music the day after Halloween? Sammy.

Decorates the Christmas tree? Sammy.

Who wears the ugly Christmas sweaters? Sammy…and is not successful at getting Sam to wear one too.

Picks out the holiday movies and who makes the hot cocoa? Sam makes the cocoa and Sammy picks the movie.

Starts the snowball fight? Sam.

Drags the other under the mistletoe? Sam again.

Decorates the house? Sammy.

Hangs up the ornaments on the tree? Sammy on bottom, Sam does top. Just like in everything ;)

Cooks Christmas dinner? Sammy, but Sam helps with little things. Like chopping.

Invites the other to sing a Christmas duet? Sammy….luckily Sam manages to distract him.

Has any holiday traditions? Sammy had one or two, Sam doesn’t mind them, since they weren’t all that different or odd.

Who would start a food fight during baking? Technically Sammy, but only because when Sam put flour on him he wasn’t really supposed to retaliate. It wasn’t done to start a food fight he just looks cute with flour.

Would get drunk off of eggnog? Sammy, because of item 1.

Who starts putting up decorations in October? Sammy.

Buys the advent calendars? Sam.

Places mistletoes all around the house? Sam again. ;)

Wraps the presents for other people? Sammy.

Puts the final star/angel on the top of the Christmas tree? Sam….but the next year he lifts Sammy to do it.

Is the one that hates eggnog? Sammy.

Is the one that bakes Christmas cookies for guests? Sammy.

Sends out the Christmas cards? Sammy. Sam thinks Christmas cards are stupid.

Knows all the words to Twelve Days of Christmas? Sam.

Is the better snowman builder? Sam….but Sammy has more fun doing it.

Is the one that wakes the other on Christmas morning by playing Christmas songs really loudly? Sammy.

     It's not the time or the place for a fight, with a crowd gathering in an unsafe zone for some form of pre-planned holiday event -- but that never seems to stop anyone. The first of the shouts came from closer to the middle of a now-scattering throng, cloaks flying open to get weapons free. Kaniela moved against the flow, getting shouldered and shoved by players trying to flee. His own two-hander stayed at his back for as long as he could stand it, not wanting to draw while still so close to what he considered to be non-combatants.

     Once he did finally pull the polearm free, he leveled it at the nearest PK, taking a quick breath before moving in.
