This next week I will be finishing the first chapter of my Les Miserables Graphic Novel, so I decided to post the cover of Chapter 1 outside.

WARNINGS: Angst, suffering, a lot of crying, everything hurts, enemies to martyrs to lovers, suicidal thoughts, suicide attempt(S), self hate, internalized homophobia, VERY slow burn, a lot of religion references (from somebody who doesn't have a clue (ME)), fucked up landscapes and backgrounds.  

This comic starts on 7th June of 1832, the date of the last barricade and the death of Javert. He just left Valjean at home and went to the Préfecture de police of the Rue de Jérusalem and he's going to Pont au Change (you know why). 

It’s my first try with a long comic, so I can’t promise there will be no mistakes. Sorry about that. It will be based on the characters from the book with a couple of nods to other characters from other media that I personally love.

Lupin getting caught this time.

Just for a little longer. A friend wrote a small cute short for this image, I will ask them if they want to share  🥰

EDIT: They said yes here is the small fic:

"As soon as the door closes behind them, Lupin clambers into Zenigata's lap.

 "LUPIN! What are you doing?" Zenigata growls when Lupin almost smacks him in the face. 

"Why getting comfortable pops. all this running around has left me simply exhausted," Lupin purrs into the inspector's ear. Zenigata's flustering causes Lupin to giggle. With a content sigh, Lupin snuggles closer to the inspector. 

The inspector freezes at first but can't help but melt into the embrace. Lupin can't help the happy, warm feeling bubbling in his chest as the inspector places his big hand on his hips and pulls him closer. He buries his nose into the inspector's coat, smelling the cheap cologne and cigarettes that linger on the man. it wasn't a joke when he said the chase had tired him out. He let himself relax and unwind knowing he was safe against the inspector's big chest. They stay like that for some time, both enjoying the moment. 

Out the corner of his eye, Lupin sees the Fiat sneaking up on the cop car. he subtly tells his friends to wait back a bit. 

"I'll just relish in the moment for a bit longer", he thinks to himself."
