Hi, we're here! - The Window Anon

"Oh, it's them. Hello." Magician waves lazily.

"So you're here now?" Chase asks, instinctively glancing around the room despite knowing he won't see anything. "Wow. That's uh...actually a bit inconvenient."

"Not that much, don't worry!" Stacy hurries to add. "He just means it would've been better if you showed up at the start of the meeting."

"Hey, it's not like they have any control over this," Jackie points out.

"No, I know that," Chase says. "I'm not mad at them or anything."

"Anyway, ghosts, we've been talking for a while now about how to break their friend out." Magician nods, indicating the rest of the group.

"Yeah," Jackie says. "Now that we know for sure where Henrik and Phoebe are being kept, we can finally act. So far we've decided on a date. The 22nd, a week from now, at 8 in the evening. It's a Friday, so Stacy doesn't have to worry about getting up to take the kids to school. I've also explained the general layout of the building. Showed some pictures of it I took on my phone. We decided it would be easiest to go in through the side entrance in the alleyway. We were just talking about who was gonna go inside, and if there would be uh...'enemies' inside to stop us."

We can tell him, but we’ll have to wait until we get sent back to his space again.

"Right. Yeah. I figured." Jackie nods. "I-it's not that I'm worried about him not understanding, I'm more worried that he'll...I don't know, take it to heart? I mean, don't tell him you heard this from me, but...I know he doesn't...have the greatest...opinion of himself. And I can tell something happened in the years I was away, he seems a bit different. So I don't want him to, like, think this is because he's not important, you know? It's just that we're worried about the danger."

Magician stares at Jackie as they make this speech. He doesn't say anything, and it's difficult to read his expression behind his mask. But it seems as though he's deep in thought. What he’s thinking about, it’s hard to say.

"Okay, anyway, I guess that's all for today," Jackie says. "Sorry, Magicat, it's not as long as the last one. Unless you have something to bring up...?"

"Ah, don't worry, I didn't expect this meeting to go as long," Magician says dismissively. "Last time we had cats there to distract us. And no, I don't have anything to add. Other than if you change your mind again about the plan to actually tell me while you're thinking about it."
