Your poem is amazing!! I wanted to say (and this might sound really stupid but I'm hoping as we're degree twins you'll get what I mean!) that I really love the way you used punctuation in your poem. The way you used commas to let long thoughts run on over lines and then contrast them with short, sharp lines ending in stops? *chef's kiss* ANYWAY hope you're having a great day!

oh god, thank you so so so much for thinking my poem is amazing!! writing poetry is something i'm not as confident in and something i'm still trying to find my voice with, so hearing you say so many nice things literally made me burst into tears! :')

I'm honestly speechless, like legit crying and at a loss for words. i kinda self-taught myself to write poetry, so i've always been nervous that my style and punctuation wasn't good enough. that's why hearing all your kindness is mind-blowing!

i'm melting into a puddle over you giving my commas and short sharp lines a chef's kiss! truly, thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart! i can't even express in words how much it means to me that you liked the way i used commas to let my long thoughts run into the next line contrasted with short punchy lines to really drive home the emotions. I honestly didn't think anyone would like it, so seeing the sheer amount of screaming from yall just utterly made my day.
