Magina Original Character Garage Kit by POPLS
Anti-mage for @blakmurd!
Sorry but I had this image stuck in my head of Anti-mage finding an abandoned Wei, and then vowing to raise her magic-free, sort of like a nutty home schooling parent lol.
I imagine them to be 20 years apart in this, so this is a young and inexperienced Magina, struggling with the hardships of being a father. I dunno what are they because I'm not a father, but I'm sure it's hard.
Anyway, hope you like!
I love this, I love Lewis for actually posting this exchange between his mum and him, and the pic showing his “mangina” 😂🤣😂l
“Boss Makes a Dollar” - The Tyler Estate Season 1 Ep. 5
kinda hate how this turned out but i blame nortrom and magina for having very animation unfriendly designs tbh
i took the background from Scooby Doo: Where are you?
First post of September and it's old art. From 2012 as well. This is a genderbent Magina (i'm not shitting you, this is character's name)
I spent some time touching it up - the original is just too bad, only rivaling my cringy-ass comments from the time.
absolute king

“I trust you.”
Kael’s gaze was intense. Even more than usual. He stared at Magina, as if searching in his features for the truth behind the words. Only when he was satisfied, did he focus back on what he was about to do.
The Anti-Mage lay with his upper body naked on the couch. The Invoker leaned over him, his hands close to Magina’s chest, barely touching. A purple tattoo ended right where Kael’s fingers almost brushed against his skin. Magina had wanted to continue the tattoo, but he hadn’t had time for it, or opportunity. Now he did something he’d never have considered before he had met Kael: he’d let a mage ink him, using magic.
It was a huge step, because the mark would be forever on his skin and it would always remind the Anti-Mage who had done it, and with what means. Even should he and Kael one day part ways, this would stay with him, forever. Magic on his body.
That had been the reason for Kael’s hesitation. He had been afraid that Magina would hate the tattoo, that he’d be repelled by it because of the way it would have been created. But Magina trusted Kael, he trusted him and the magic he wielded. He knew that no matter what, he’d never see magic the way he used to. Not all magic was bad, and this, it was something the Anti-Mage wanted and the Invoker did with the utmost care. He stroked over the place the tattoo should be put on with his fingers, then he checked on Magina again.
But the Anti-Mage smiled. He was ready for this. So the Invoker started. It hurt just like any other tattoo would, and Magina gripped the backrest of the couch with a tight grip. It helped him to focus on the pain. He could meditate to turn the feeling off, but he wanted to be present for this.
He watched Kael, who had his hair pulled back into a tight ponytail so it wouldn’t get in his way. He was utterly motionless, except for the hand that ‘drew’ the tattoo. His brows were furrowed as he concentrated on his work. He was so beautiful, Magina had the urge to reach out for him to see if he was real. He didn’t want to disturb his concentration, and of course he knew how it would feel to touch Kael. Instead he watched the mage, smiling all the time through the pain. Until the tattoo was done. There were advantages over doing this the traditional way, but that hadn't been the reason for Magina to ask Kael. It had been because he trusted him and because he wanted to have something that was utterly and completely Kael. Something that would last for as long as the Anti-Mage would live. A reminder, of the beautiful elf but also of the way he had changed Magina's perspective on magic. He had made him see how magic could be something beautiful as well, beautiful as the ink on his skin.
The colour was the same, but the lines were not as straight, there was a flourish about it, as if Kael had wanted to remind him about just that, the beauty magic could create.
