Evangelion is and always will be a huge part of my life; something that changed my life forever. Without Evangelion, I never would have went to Japan. I was fortunate to win this original douga and correction genga copy through the Mandarake auction site in late 2016.

The douga and genga are from episode 10: Magma Diver. This is the first original Evangelion piece in my collection but I have added others since. The goal is to have something from every episode and film. 

Tied for first with my signed copy of Evangelion Groundworks by Hideaki Anno for most prized possessions; I will always look at these and smile on my worst day.

Magmadiver

A high energy, disco inspired piece. The trumpets have their say here, emphasizing both the staccatos and long tones. This is one of the few tracks that has a saxophone line, padding out the background in short bursts, as well as taking over the melody later on. The bass is also prominent with a rich tone.
