ALICE DYER, MY ABSOLUTELY BELOVED!!! Kick Sam to the curb, I could treat you right!!! I appreciate your incessant need to joke, especially at inappropriate times!!! I think the way I draw Alice is pretty different from how other people see her, but I had a really clear image of her since episode one and I will stand my ground 💪💪 I tried to capture the look of hair that has been dyed a million times even though the first color never really washed out, but my details are always getting lost in the shadows :[

My commission are opennnnn as always! I do commissions in Medibang because it works better with my laptop and improves my workflow, but I’m open to doing textured stuff like this in Krita is you’re willing to pay like $5 extra. We can work things out 👍

something about how the OIAR is trying to be different/more modern/more put together than the magnus institute they destroyed, even though they’re essentially the same. avatars vs “externals”. named entities vs “powers”. day job vs night job. statements vs cases. archiving vs filing. paper vs computer files. tape recorders vs cctv. tea vs coffee.

the only different is that the institute was trying to stop the Fears while the OIAR is trying to keep them under wraps!! they can try to pretend they’re doing it better and safer and less “involved” than the magnus institute but at the end of the day they’re just as bad!!! if not worse!!!
