    Hah! You’re right, he kind of does– especially in the show (gotta love the facial hair). Also, back when Sanford Greene’s character designs for PMIF vol. 3 were first released, my friend and I lovingly referred to his Danny as “Shaggy Fist”: 

    He didn’t end up looking quite like that in the actual comic, but… still.

   Tarkata start learning to talk around 1 or 2 years old or until all there teeth have grown. In the beginning their speech may sound like a garbled mess due to the lack of lips so words starting with letter C or S would be harder to pronounce and they end up spitting or butchering words like chicken. As they get older their speech becomes better. Almost like a parrot in a way because they learn to talk by copying and repeating. Overall some tarkata are better at talking than others(guess that’s why Baraka and Mileena and a few other tarks in the mkx comic talk more then the rest)
