I just found your cover for My Hands and I think my ears will never recover XD In all seriousness though, you sing so beautifully! Do you do singing professionally?

I selfishly held onto this message in my inbox for years because I noticed it so late that responding felt awkward, but fuck it, this was such a lovely ask and it makes me happy to have received such a question and I’m immortalizing it right now.

I do not sing professionally. I learned to sing doing musical theater and choir in high school, then I sang in choir in university. Now I just do karaoke and hobbyist vocal recordings. Damn I would love to learn to mix audio and write my own music though.

and to be clear, i took my vacation already. I hadn’t left chicago in about 2 years and i got on that plane and went to italy and had an amazing trip. They’re just throwing it in my face ever since I got back.

Ahh I’m really glad you liked it! ❤️ I think that panel with Yuuri is my favourite in the new comic as well because while Victor has been pining since the beginning, it shows that he’s not the only one falling in love \o/

And it’s good to hear that the kiss scene turned out well! It was pretty important that it happened because while Victor in the anime shamelessly touches and flirts with Yuuri, the Victor in my AU is a lot more hesitant about those things because he’s scared of pushing Yuuri away ^^ So with the kiss, Yuuri says that he’s okay with them continuing to deepen their relationship! (Nevertheless, Yuuri’s boldness probably isn’t very good for Victor’s heart hahaha)

Re: Top 10 times Victor was petty af. Just sharing my own headcannon after reading this - after Victuuri gets together in Rivals, Victor decides to retaliate (in good spirit) for Yuuri being super oblivious to his many "I'm in love with Yuuri" skating routines through the seasons. In one of his exhibition skates after they get together, Victor skates to song with a really explicit "I'm yours and you're mine" message - basically his own version of Eros (1/2)

(2/2) directed straight at Yuuri who is watching off the ice and slowly getting redder and more turned on by the second. (Oh and the crowd is also going nuts) In my head the song Victor is skating to is “I can’t go on” by Robin Bengsston, which already has pretty suggestive choreography XD Thats just my thoughts - thank you so much for sharing your writing!! I look forward to every chapter you post!

Any thoughts on androids having their personal mind palaces similar to what Connor has with Amanda's garden? I know with Connor's case its more like an interface where he communicates with Cyberlife, but I quite like the concept of androids having somewhere in their programming where they can mentally retreat to.

I quite like that. Maybe that’s what androids do when they’re idle or “asleep” as seen in the chapter where Markus proposes the plan to Simon: he’s leaned up against a pillar with his eyes closed and there are maybe three or four other androids standing with their head bowed like their at rest scattered around as well. I wish we could have seen for sure, like maybe Markus has one and it’s the studio or the garden outside of it.
