mahoucore is an aesthetic encompassing all things mahou shoujo, including gifs and screenshots from (typically older, classic) mahou shoujo media, magical girl toys and merchandise, oshikatsu for magical girls, cosplay of magical girls, and the overall concept of mahou shoujo. the aesthetic often features pastel colors (most often pink, yellow, and other warm colors), gentle rainbows, happiness, peace, cuteness, friendship, glitter, magic, wands, princesses, anime, fluffy dresses, and stars. mahoucore may overlap with other nostalgic aesthetics such as moecore, heisei retro, and kidcore.

since ive been doing every prompt with a mahoucore aesthetic already, i thought itd be better to use a similar aesthetigender term, and then since what i wanted to do didnt already exist, i just coined it! heres the coining post if anyone wants more info/the full flag :]
