Mahv is good at understanding the software side of technology, having a knack for numbers and logic. This helps her in her work both recreating Allagan arcanima, and restoring old technology to a functioning state.

Not a one of Mahv’s current allies, save for Zeuk, have had to deal with her while she was healthy. Without pain and fatigue weighing her down, some may find her difficult to keep up with.

THREE THINGS THAT YOUR MUSE LIKES DOING IN THEIR FREE TIME:

Tinker. Mahv’s adoptive father was Garlean, and he liked to show her the ropes when he could in regards to magitek and the like. When she has some downtime, it’s almost comforting to her to tinker with something small.

Work on arcanima. Mahv is an arcanist, and has taken an interest in trying to recreate old Allagan spells that have otherwise been lost to time. Sometimes things get set on fire, however - herself included. 

Dance. She hasn’t danced in years, but back when she was a sailor, it was a popular downtime activity. Some of the crew would play instruments, and Mahv would dance along, and she liked to pick up local dances when they arrived somewhere new.

SEVEN PEOPLE THAT YOUR MUSE LOVES/LIKES/RESPECTS:

Zeuk Taren ( @zeuk-ffxiv ) - Mahv adores her husband, even if she’s sometimes awkward about showing it. They met as sailors, and Zeuk’s loved her since. Due to her halfbreed nature, she was reluctant to reciprocate - but after he returned from Carteneau, they properly dated and got married.

Styrnskyf - He’s the man Mahv credits with giving her a second chance, and she keeps in touch with the Roegadyn rogue often, sometimes calling on him for help or advice. 

Terres ( @sciintiilla ) - Terres and Mahv worked together as rogues, and he was one of the very, very few who learned what she had done beforehand. She views him as a valuable ally, even if she does tease him from time to time about his skills.

Aessa Kilrian ( @littlewhitelizard ) - The steward of Axiom Free Company, Aessa has no small amount of Mahv’s respect for putting up with the shenanigans that go on. Also, she mixes a delicious drink that has become one of Mahv’s favorites.

Mira’sae Maajen ( @sciintiilla ) - Mahv met Mira when she saved him from Ifrit, and she’s since tried to look out for the Miqo’te, directing him to the Mog & Mug if he needed a place to stay. He’s since been roped into being her assistant, which has led to her strengthening his education.

Tertius Celerus ( @thetitor ) - She originally found him interesting, as he’s one of the first Garleans she’s met in a long while not trying to shoot her, and she likes to bother him with her accent. However, Mahv has begun to suspect that Nymia arranged their meeting...

Titor Jaraba ( @thetitor ) - Mahv views him as the potential and awkward younger brother she never had, and wants to try to help him - but, without knowing what’s wrong, exactly, there’s little she can do other than listen when he needs it, and talk to him when she can.

TWO THINGS YOUR MUSE REGRETS:

Refusing Zeuk when they met. The Lalafell was persistent, and she often laughed it off as him joking, as Zeuk was something of a flirt with any pretty woman. Perhaps things would have worked out differently if she had allowed herself to get close to him sooner.

Going into debt over alcohol. After Carteneau, Mahv crawled into a bottle and stayed there, and a pirate bought her debt. He used this debt to control her for nearly a year, until Styrnskyf helped her out of her situation.

A PHOBIA YOUR MUSE HAS:

Trypanophobia - Mahv isn’t afraid of a whole lot, but she gets exceedingly anxious at the idea of being jabbed with a needle. She much prefers trusting her health to magical healing methods, as it doesn’t require injections. Giving her stitches is also difficult.
