Study study!

A long weary yawn escaped a pair of lips as knuckles rubbed heavy-lidded eyes behind frames. Adjusting his glasses, sapphire hues blinked blearily at the textbook laid before him and then to the clock on the wall. It read two o’clock. In the morning. Ruan visibly frowned. Only half way through his studying and he needed to be up in several hours for an early morning shoot at the filming set. It looked like another all-nighter in a row was likely in his extremely near future.

This thought alone resulted in a tiresome sigh as he glanced around the nearly deserted library—it made sense since it was a Friday night, after all. Who would be cooped up in the library on such a night? At this, his body slouched over the piles of textbooks on the table as if the words would absorb into his being.

Eyes involuntarily fluttering close, the male drifted off.

the courage test!

Ugh. He never liked haunted houses. Never would. Never will. But it wasn’t because of the ghosts or the creepy crawlers that called the place home. No, he loathed that feeling of anticipation. The feeling that maybe, just maybe, something was there. Hiding in the dark.

Hiding there and waiting for him, more importantly.

But even with that said, it didn’t stop him. A courage test was what had brought him here. Of all the places to be on a Friday night. Ugh. He wouldn’t have gone for it himself but he couldn’t very well wuss out either in front of his friends. Swallowing his nervousness, Ambroise headed straight inside without doing do much as looking back.

One night. He just had to make it through one night. Besides, it might even end early. He could recall his friends saying there had been recent sightings of ghosts inside of the building. But they were probably just going to try and pull a prank on him.

Ghosts weren’t real. Right?

Something had caught the ears eye as he thought of what he could do. He got up and left the room. He could not see anything. With a small frown he left the room and headed for the study down the hall to see if something in there could give him something to do.
