You knew you shouldn't think of him like this, but all you wanted was to be with him. Of course, right now, you were with him. But you wanted to be dating him. You wanted to be his partner.
So when Jeongin pulled you to the side at the party your face started to heat up. Both of you had a few drinks, making you slightly tipsy. Yet neither of you expected for him to blurt out "I'm in love with you!", over the sound of the music.
You didn't remember how you got home, but the pounding headache you felt told you, that you must have had a few more drinks.
A fresh glass of water in hand after grabbing it from the kitchen, you went towards the living room.
Your best friend was laying on his back, his limbs streched out - at least as much as your sofa allowed. He sat up when he saw you standing in the doorway, your memory rushing back to you when your eyes met.
"You-" "I-", both of you attempted to talk at the same time.
"You first.", he nodded towards you. "I'm sorry I didn't react yesterday. I was really drunk. A-and I was shocked and I didn't know what to do and how to react and-" "It's okay. I understand. We should stay friends.", he got up, walking up to you.
The singer stopped right in front of you. "Let's stay friends-" "Iminlovewithyoutoo.", you whispered in a speed that not even Changbin would master. Your friends head angled a bit, like a confused dog looking at someone. "What?", his brows furrowed. You sighed, "I'm in love with you, too."
"You're so stupid sometimes.", you rolled your eyes, taking one step closer to the boy in front of you. One pull at the top of his shirt was all you needed to crash your lips onto his. His body softened up, his hands wrapping around your waist to pull you closer to his body.
You pulled away after kissing a while longer, your lungs aching from not getting enough air. The smile on your lips stopped when you felt the headache reappear.
"God", you moved your hands to your head, "I'm never drinking again."
