i met a person who whote only brown and blue. only exception being their hat. it had a yellow sun on it. i asked if i could have it but they told me no. and if i wanted to stay with him, i had to follow his rules. like not touching or breaking anything. it was boaring. i counted the books in his library to pass time. he said i should read them instead but i wasnt suppose to touch anything so i didnt read them. he taught me things like how to use my pazzaaz and how to count on the stars. he told me my pazzaz rely on how the sun moves with the sky. whatever that means. one day though, when the sun wasnt there. he told me to follow him. and i agreed. i held his hand. and then in an empty woods. he broke my wrist but didnt let go. all the inky weird stuff on him started climbing all over me. it wouldnt stop. i couldnt breath. my eyes and face felt like it was burning. he told me that i promised him something. that i promised id help him when we first met. that i promised to be there when he needed it.

i was only seven. how was i suppose to know what any of this ment.

my face is gone. i can no longer sleep. my arms ache with a feeling of raw empty power corsing through my veins. unnatural to my body. i want it to be over. but i dont want to make someone help me in the same way he did.
